Eros acquires rights of Welcome Back and Hera Pheri 3
Deal apparently locked for Rs 140 crore, Krishka Lulla of Eros Intl confirms advanced talks

After the success of NH10, Badlapur and Tanu Weds Manu Returns, Eros International is now looking forward to making some more successful films this year. According to an industry insider, Eros International has acquired the distribution rights of Welcome Back and Hera Pheri 3.
The recently happened deal has been locked for whopping Rs 140 crore for two films.Firoz Nadiadwala's much-delayed film Welcome Back is complete and slated to release this year. The film is expected to be one of the biggest hits of the year. The film has now been backed by Eros International for the distribution. Though the makers are yet announce the release date, it is believed that the film will release with Excel Entertainment's Bangistaan and Ajay Devgn's Drishyam remake which is also scheduled to release on the same day.
Hera Pheri 3 has recently gone on the floors. The underproduction comic caper has interesting stars like Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham Paresh Rawal and Suneil Shetty. It is also expected to be one of the sure shot successful films. Without giving much details about the same, Krishika Lulla of Eros International, said, "Talks are going on and we are planning to lock it soon." However, producer Firoz Nadiadwala denied any such development. "Nothing has been finalised yet," he said.
Apart from films like Welcome Back and Hera Pheri 3, Eros has two more big films Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Bajirao Mastani up for release. With films like Welcome Back and Hera Pheri 3 added to the impressive list, Eros will certainly turn out to be a winner this year.
