Hello people, a silent stalker replying for the first time ever because the discussion in this forum is awesome and there is something interesting in Telly nowadays, FINALLY !😆

TBH, I have lots of issues with this track. I get it, we are getting something here so we should not be too picky and also it's just a serial, but still could not stop myself . . . for starters, The baaghi guy, why he approached Ananya? Is there so other popular/important figure in KKN whom he wanted for his IV? I thought senior reputed Journos do these type of reporting. I don't see anyone good there except Kabir, but what about before him? KKN was no.2 before him, and I can't believe that fattu Manav was the reason for it.

Then the kidnapping. He had issues with the film that was being released, why kidnap two jounro for that? And to think his plan was to call only A and held her hostage, how absurd is that? No offence but I don't think if he actually held her hostage and demanded anything anybody would have given any damn. Or did he want something else, I missed something?

The Baaghi guy is terrorist/anti social/ maoist/whatever, and really he had to be the regular bad guy here? Could not the writers had been little bit more sensitive to this issue and the characterization of the guy? And really he had to be the creepy asshole who eyed A from top to bottom?🤢 Wanted to punch him badly. Maybe they will show later he was normal once, before whatever shit happened happened to him and he had to pick up Gun.

One thing really made me realize after this track, how absurd are those protests before controversial films premiere. Arre, pehle dekho, then chillao !!! How on earth they know something is wrong with the concept / the way of showing before they actually watch it and demand it's ban? Beyond my mind

Like many pointed out here, A's childish antics need to change. Kabir better has some plan because those smirks and too calm attitude is not doing any good to my already running brain😆 I mean how can he be so calm? They can be dead, damn it! Many people never returns after kidnapping, and it don't always end up in death

Excuse if come across too harsh😛

Good point. And agreed about that kind of coverage. There is one difference - the channels send out senior, seasoned reporters to take on perilous reporting. Eg BBC's John Simpson or CNN's Christiane Amanpour during the wars because they know that the numbers of journalists being killed in recent years has risen significantly.

Journaists do risk their lives, sometimes knowing full well the risk and paying the price for it. But it is the channel's duty to educate them about the dangers of their jobs above all else. And in this, KKN (Khalid, Malvika Kabir) failed Ananya utterly.
As you rightly say, Kabir knew, and I have no problem with him risking his life - except that it's ridiculous to put your life in danger for channel rankings!! Life in danger for a cause to show the truth is a different thing in my book. But for business!! Unbelievable!!

At bold; I think, Kabir has mixed both. It may be business for Khalid, but it is about truth for Kabir. They need not be opposite. We had the highest rating for a serial, which aired the unpleasant truths of society.
