lol I think you're forgetting that he's her grandfather. Even though their relationship isn't great, and he can be pretty mean, he's still her mom's dad. Not to mention she heard him unconsciously call out Sneha's name, meaning in his heart, he still loves her and longs for her.

Also Amaya thinks it's partly her fault that his condition is so bad, bc she left him instead of immediately calling for help, so she can't possible leave him without knowing he's completely okay. There was a chance he could've died and if he did Amaya would have been devastated thinking she was partly the reason.

i think amaya did right

when chaubeji and dinesh are mad at mathurs

it wont be right to reveal her identity

which will further worsen the situations

but when chaubeji murmured sneha's name i think amaya felt that deep inside he still has the love for his daughter

I think Amaya was right...she did her duty without any expectations... GNC and Girish response do not matter here...Amaya did what her heart felt...

Right or wrong, what was the purpose anyways ?

The man was unconscious and the family hadn't reached till then.Whether it was Nidhi or Amaya, who would care ? Admit him, inform his family and leave before they come.

If someone had known it somehow, just tell them you helped Chaubey because he had helped you during the police station thing.
