is dream girl a sequel to mien laxmi tree angan ki? 😲😲😲 wikipedia says so! and it does make sense because there are a lot of similarities

1. the name of the female protagonist

2. her wishes of becoming famous and rich

3. her childhood crush on the hero

4. the hero disguises himself as someone poor

5 the two fall in love

6 Background of hara hara mein naindo ne hara.

8. almost same personality of the heroine

9. Love for bua

10. No mother for girl

11 shradha aya

makes sense right!

Yaa right... also when I read some another sites about the show I saw that the story line is also same. Like in main lakshmi tere aagan ki, the lead lady had to adjust in the new house and adopt their new culture,as they are rich. So it was written that the basic concept of the story is same but it is shown with a twist. It means that lakshmi will get married to samar after some time and try to adjust in her new house...

Soo I guess it is a sequel...

exactly, lots of similarities betn these two shows..may be the ph is same..i started admiring shraddha from mein lakshmi tere aangan ki..she was supeb in that show..while watching drem grl at initial days i felt lyk i was watching MLTAK itself :D

thats really true! and this is why i love this show... but i just feel ( saying only for the sake of the character not any personal feeling) that lakshmi from MLTAK was much more innocent and sensible than dream girl lakshmi. i liked the lakshmi from MLTAK better than the one in dream girl, just on the basis of character development only otherwise both actors are great
