I think its more due to the fact that the script is not that tight as it used to be anymore, during the time when SS used to handle KS.

I am sure once the storyline gets decent, the intensity will return. 👍🏼

I believe that it has to do one's perception. But for me JB have the best on screen chemistry on TV till date. even with the crappy story line it is for their chemistry like the cute hugs and eye locks that i watch the show for.
