Today's was a good episode. I am probably in the minority here when I say that Rukaiya stole the show! I have never been fond of her but today she was on a roll.

Things I liked:

1) Adorable Aram! The Dadi-pothi interaction was too cute for words.

2)The war khema scene. Good discussion to let us know what was going on the war front. 3)The episode belonged to Rukaiyya.

* She has finally admitted openly that Jodha is #1 in Jalal's life. This was just very matter of fact without the usual jealousy bordering on mania.

* She was the only person who was upfront about the fact that all food has to be tasted before the Shahenshah takes a bite. She did not care that the person offering the food was Jo's relative. Only the Shahenshah was the priority nothing else.

* Gave Jalal a dhakka so that the kheer spilled before he could taste it though Laboni and her mom managed to give him some more anyways. I just liked that she did her best to prevent Jalal from eating the kheer.

*She had the guts to question Jalal about why he had not visited the Khaas begums first as was the tradition.

* And last but certainly not the least, she seems to be the only one who has realized that something is seriously wrong with Jalal. The person who spoke to her so rudely is not the same Jalal that she knows. This is a true bachpan ki dost. The Rukaiyya-Jodha scene was very touching.

I always felt that Rukaiyya from the beginning has not taken to Leela/Laboni. She seems to have this gut feeling that Jo's cousin sister is not all that she appears to be. She always had that dissecting look whenever she sees Laboni as if she is trying to figure her out.

well said..Happy to see u liked the episode. I could not digest it, mainly because I feel the leads are shown dumb and clueless. Its as if Jodha lost all the thinking power. Jalal thinks at times. Jodha I am waiting for that one day when she finally starts to think

Yes its always Rukaiya who figures out all this and Jodha who spends most of the time with Jalal is clueless to all this. Same goes to Jalal. Both remain clueless, .Its depressing to watch how Leads are shown so dumb and others are Glorified

No matter what I cant connect with Rukaiya at all and can never at least In JA Serial..A true Bachpan Ki dosth will never back stab her friend. Ruks has done this many many times plus feeding a child Opium. The day she admits to all this and repents That's the day I can accept Probably Ruks.

intersting observations. Me myself was never fond of ruku.

she has done too much behind jajals back. Today only her got suspicious. But my opinion is that

again our dear cv s try to heroise ruku, and portray jodha as the naive lovey dovey-only capable of doing nok jok with shenshah-begum/queen.

I would have liked jodha to know her husband better than anyone and notice that something is fishy here.

Anyway i hope this stupid laboni track is going to end soon.

I wonder, was AKBARs life that boring that cv s invent those NRs???????????????????

I agree with you. Rukaiyya has done some horrible things in the past especially drugging little Salim. No justification for those actions at all.

It's just that today I did not expect her to have the insight to realise the change in Jalal. I was expecting her to just rub her hands in glee that Jalal did not go to Jodha's stall first as usual.

I think in the case of Laboni it is more a case of "ek chor hee doosre chor ko pehchanta hai". Rukaiyya has over the years developed a twisted, evil way of thinking and that gives her a little edge over others in suspecting that Leela/Laboni may be upto no good.

Why do you say Jodha is shown dumb? I think she does realise that Jalal is not himself. She tells herself that it is work and alcohol. At this point what can she do really? why should she suspect Laboni? From Jo's POV this is her cousin Leela. An upright morally sound Rajvanshi girl like her. She is meeting her for the first time. I know it is difficult to digest the fact that Jo can be so gullible but there are these rare people who are that way. they are not dumb but only see the good in others until slammed with reality in their face.

Jalal is a victim in this situation. I don't know how he should be handling the situation.

Maybe as the track progresses we will get to see JaJo getting a little more shrewd and cunning. I do think both are shown too soft especially Jodha.

@blue: This is my problem too. Its just that after so many years of experience, treachery what not, If Jodha is like this I dont know what to say..I mean we are talking about almost 30 yrs..We all learn from experiences.. So much has happened in JJ's life and its about time we see Jodha realizing this. Yes Jalal I can understand here...

I agree on this with you Sindhu that our leads are portrayed to be so dumb. She is the same Jodha who once had objected to Jalal's eating food cooked by HB only for his safety. But in today's episode she was ready to let go of this precaution for the sake her so called sister, who is not even her real sister.😡. I am amazed at the way CVs continue to portray that they are suffering from amnesia.😡.

I am also in agreement with you that what Ruks did in today's episode cannot redeem her past unforgivable deeds - feeding opium to a kid, instigating Salim against his parents, fake pregnancy act, insulting her bachpan ka dost in DEK during baby sharing track etc. The list is endless. Its quite possible that our warped minded CVs are now trying to redeem this woman's character at the cost of butchering Jodha's character.😡.

It is the CVs and only the CVs who are responsible for the downfall of this show😡. How I wish I could gun them down😡. GO TO HELL CVs😡

Yes, you are right. Yesterday Ruks stole the show.. and i dont know if Ruks can understand that this is not the same Jalal.. why cant Jo understand this? Even when old lady came to her and told her about there being a kalaa saaya on Jalal. Jo does not do anything about it.. as per the precap .. she is b eing pushed by jalal.. so only Ruks has alll the brains in Agra... ? But yes yesterday Ruks was good.. ..Liked it when she gave dhakka so thaat Kheer feel off but This Laboni is a repeat of Ben... .. But still I hope against hope that JA should not go off air... Paris contract coming to an end.. but t hat can be renewed unless she does not want to... Rajat also must have signed the contract and at the same time..so both contracts can be renewed.. unless the PH does not want to or the actors themselves dont want to...

@bold just spoke to Zee. she vehemently denied that JA is going off the air. I told her that fans are going crazy and that they should put a statement out saying that the rumors are not true out of respect for the fans. But it does not seem like Zee is going to take any action to stop these rumors.
