A newlywed couple is walking down a deserted road Kachatopa. A masked man attacks them with axe. He leaves dragging the bloodstained axe after killing them.
Children and teachers of a school have come for camping. The principal is telling the students about their tasks when some people from nearby village come and tell them about Zulaki. They advise the principal to go back if they value their life. But she doesn't pay heed to their talk and says she doesn't believe on such supernatural stuffs. The village people leave and she sends guardians of two students in jungle as task and a teacher unwillingly on principal's order accompanies them. She and other teachers get worried when they don't return after a long time. She sends another teacher in their search. All rush to the jungle hearing a loud scream only to find the deadbodies of all four. CID team (Abhijeet, Daya, Pankaj, Shreya, Vansh, Dr. Salunkhe, Dr. Tarika) reaches the spot and starts investigation. The doctors find that the bodies have only one fatal cut and that's of axe. The principal tells duo that they ran to jungle hearing a scream and found the deadbodies. When they returned they found other children and parents missing. Shreya finds ashes of burnt opium and kapoor. Dr. Salunkhe and Dr. Tarika finds the traces of same in the nostrils of the deceased. Duo ask the rincipal to stay in the base camp till they find others when she pleads to go with them in search. Daya sir and Nikhil are about to leave for Kachatopa road and Abhijeet sir and Shreya for interrogating the villagers. Pankaj, frightened, tries to stop Duo but they don't pay heed to him.
Abhijeet sir and Shreya notice a small shop in the outskirt of the village. He orders her to go to shop while he talks with the villagers. They tell him the same story of Zulaki. Shreya asks for kapur and opium, the shopowner panicks and tells that he doesn't have opium and is surprised that she has come today. Shreya asks showing CID batch who comes to buy those. The shop owner points to a girl, Chanda among the villagers whom Abhijeet sir is talking with. Shreya signals him about the girl by eyes.
Daya sir and Nikhil find stoves and other camping items at Kachatopa road. They find the caps of campers from school there. Suddenly Zulaki attacks Daya sir with an axe on his arm. Nikhil runs to find him but fails. He brings Daya sir to base camp. Dr. Tarika bandages his arm. Dr. Salunkhe informs them that the green substance found on the spoon is used in labs for general purpose. But they can't understand in what way Zulaki is using it.
At night in jungle Abhijeet and Shreya follow Chanda who's wearing western outfit instead of that of a village girl. On the way the cops get distracted hearing a sound and lost her. Abhijeet sir decides to go to base camp as she is heading there. Pankaj notices the two there and he with other team members come running. Abhijeet sir asks if they have noticed any girl there to which they reply in negative. Pankaj mistakes opium's smell as Kheer. Dr. Salunkhe warns them to take shelter in tent. Team catches Chanda who is making the smoke in the jungle. She confesses that she did all being appointed by a villager Bablu who is a henchman of Zulaki. She further tells she has no news of the kidnapped children and their parents. Abhijeet sir, Shreya, Pankaj, Vansh head towards Kachatopa.

Zulaki is caught finally and he's revealed to be a village guy team met earlier. Abhijeet sir tells the villagers not to believe any rumors.
