Girls I have been thinking. In a strange way what happened in ss and in leela's story perhaps reflects an army man's commitment to the nation
In ss rajat leaves without blinking an eyelid knowing very well that his wife is ill and perhaps even needs him.
In leela's story also rajat leaves though he is wounded and in great pain
In a strange way both these stories show that for a soldier nation comes first. These two r fictional stories. But I think there must be similar real ones where a soldier has put the nation first even before his family. We seldom get to hear about these. We felt sad at rajat leaving Anu yesterday but we must realise that in real life so many of them do it without batting an eye lid.
Being an army mans wife is a difficult job. The wife must realise that for him it will always be nation first. Anu exhibited that thinking when she extolled him to go. And Anu has the extra resposilbility especially after rajat took that medal from her .
Both may be pain but both realise that it is duty first
Ss actually depicted a scene which must be a daily occurrence in many army men homes
So 3 cheers for the soldier who guards the nation.
