Buzz is, Aanand L Rai has replaced Prahlad Kakkar to direct the Guzaarish actress



Remember Happy Anniversary - the Prahlad Kakkar film that was supposed to beAishwarya Rai Bachchan's comeback vehicle? The actress had given her nod to the script, which also would have her sharing screen space with her husband Abhishek Bachchan.

In fact, Prahlad had stated in December last year that he will begin shooting for the film in February this year.

Well, it's May now and the movie is yet to go on floors. Naturally, producer Gaurang Doshi is not too pleased with the delay and has taken the matter into his own hands.

9xe.com has exclusively learnt that the producer wants to replace Prahlad. He has approached Aanand L Rai to wield the megaphone for the project. The Tanu Weds Manu Returns director has shown interest in the film and is working out the details.

When contacted about his exit, Prahlad was evasive in the beginning. He said, "Certain changes are being made in the film." When probed further, he added, "It'sGaurang Doshi's project, he is free to take it whomsoever he wants. Aanand L Rai is a very good director."



Rai and Doshi were unavailable for comment.
