What's with the double standard here? Ranveer is equally at fault here he's no saint. Why we always blaming the woman only? The man have all right to smile laugh, dance, enjoy, go on dates with there so called pretend girl friend/Wife while the woman should just sit, cry over her ex husband and suffer, don't even put a smile on the face not even to the world or other people!
I for 1 can't stand this cross couple track but the double standard here amazes me.

What about this double standards, people? Who's showing any kind of double standard here? Didn't we all bash Ranveer too when he was shown married to Ritika? And how can you people deny the fact that Ranveer's character was dumbed down so that Shakti could participate in NB? When they didn't have the actor later, how could they themselves shoot the scenes that were to prove Ranveer was not married to Ritika? Call me an idiot for thinking so, but I have spent years and years defending my favorite literaray characters who get butchered by the movie makers because the original characterization was always completely different from the one I saw. Also, in absence of Shakti the character of Ranveer suffered badly and blaming Ranveer despite knowing how external elements affected the characters is downright silly. It's like you'd not mind blaming the Fast and Furious movie makers for inconsistencies of the film after Paul Walker died. They didn't have the actor so they couldn't give the proper shape to his character.would you people blame the movie makers for that too?? What's the difference then? Both situation did not have the actor! Also, Ranveer's character was redeemed a lot.
Another thing, despite no head or tail to Ishani's actions most of us sympathized with Ishani and thought very high of her. I myself used to words for Ranveer that I never have and never shall use in my life again, because Ranveer's characterization was very, very, very poor. And for the Ri's my wife crap he does not deserve to see Ishani marrying someone else. For this stupidity of his, Ishani should have confronted him, asked him if he was happy, asked him how could he impregnant another woman like this, asked him if he really is the father why he did not marry the child's mother, asked him why he still is busy in spoiling her life when he took such a big step, and after asking these questions and not getting any satisfactory answers she could MOVE ON. What did she do? Assumed he has married, assumed the child is his, assumed his life is with another woman, assumed his responsibility is another woman.
The biggest problem with Ranveer was that there was nothing that could justify his second marriage, and why he agreed to aid Ri like he did, one could expect an explanation from the CVs. Atleast this is what they can give.
For Ishani, her actions post the hospital scenes are brutal. Absolutely. And after getting to know Ranveer is not married to Ri, her sacrifices or whatever make no sense at all. The way we criticized Ranveer, the same way we're criticizing Ishani? Why so much partiality between the two characters? I don't find any justification--internal or external-- for Ishani's character because Radhika is very much fine in the show and she can do whatever she is told. Also, Ranveer never did all the crap to hurt Ishani and all that was caused by his internal emotional turmoil unlike Ishani who is knowingly doing things to hurt Ranveer despite knowing the love he has for her. In this scenario I find Ishani wrong. When Ranveer was wrong he was criticized just much--in fact more than he had truly deserved because we feared his character assassination.
