The whole death rites pooja was so over the top. Was it really necessary. Lakhan was hardly terrifying and more of a comedy. I know a lot of ppl are lakhan supporters here but today i found his acting very weak. Body-shody ke elava kuch nahin. The problem is that the actors who play phulan and mithelesh are such good actors that he seemsbad in comparison.

I kept expecting phulan thakur to yawn and go off to sleep, mithelesh to say 'chal chirkut',and manjeeta to simply shoot that irritating son of his. It was like watching a kid throwing a tantrum for his fav toy. There was nothing menacing about him.

i am just not getting the logic of making lakhan this big a player so soon. Till a month ago he was waiting to be gifted the toll road contract by mithelesh. And after repeatedly challenging the thakurs, why hadnt someone tried to kill him by now. Btw threatening to kill the kids - the character has lost the plot.

I wish they stop showing this stupid triangle and focus on the senior cast. They are much more interesting,

It's unfortunately really common in tv shows. The third wheel in the love triangle sooner or later becomes irredemable. Same is being done with Laakhan. Perhaps because they do not have any other character as a villain. Bindiya is the hidden enemy.

Haven't seen it yet, but agree that the senior cast deserves more focus. They are all fine actors and every time they are on screen, sizzle. I don't know why Maya, Mithlesh and Bindiya have been made to take the backseat for a love triangle. Begusarai's essence has been really diluted.

Personally for me, there is no triangle whatsoever till now. It's only a point, since Poonam is the only person having any sort of feeling.

It's really unfortunate that other characters are getting so less screen-space and that too when the series has got such big names associated with it. Phulan Thakur, Mithilesh Thakur, Maya, Badi Granny hardly get enough screen-space.

Regarding that death ritual drama, making a character (I really don't care whether the same is positive or negative !!!) executing death rituals of two living & breathing innocent children and subsequently threatening to murder them is really sickening and of extremely bad taste !!!

P.S Forgot to mention in my earlier posts that the scene in which the bodies, of the family Lakhan had burnt alive, were kept in front of Thakur house has reminded me of that famous scene from Sholay.

@bold- Point. 😆

The show was very gripping till the other characters got enough screen space and the story was rotated between different characters. I feel the CVs canvas needs to be wider and include more characters, 'cause it's kind of boring without them.

Wait, what? He actually threatened to kill Mithlesh's kids? 😲😡

What can v expect from a man who has just killed a little kid with no reason so he can do the cremation of two more kids. From start up to now I never felt Laakhan's love for Punmi. It was only his zid which got ignited by Phoolan Thakur when he decided them to get married.
The only thing which matter is Poonam's choice and she clearly love Priyom. about Lakhan he always irriates with his sadu face and irritating eccentric attitude. It's just his zid to have her.

Death threat was the later part; Lakhan first performed death ritual for each of the 10 members of elder Thakur household.

And going by all the actions and reactions dialogues and counter-dialogues, I am really getting scared of that "intentionally becoming sacrificial lamb to save others" drama.

@Red - I feel Poonam is going to do the same.She is no diff from typical Hindi soap heroine. She will become sacrificial lamb for saving Priyom's family.

I simply can't tolerate those vertebra-less, confused, silent, ever-tortured and subsequently ever-enduring, dukhiyaari, mahaan and ablaa naari heroines, who are ever-ready to become sacrificial lambs at any point in time whether logical or illogical 😡 !!! If Poonam is being portrayed as one, then there would be no difference between Saregama Productions and one particular PH, which has done Post Doctorate in this specific disgusting concept !!! But I have really got no expectation left after tolerating this "Point" drama (I would call this so called triangle as "Point" from this post onward, till I find some emotions in the others 😉).
