Nandini's Confession Is Pending Right? A Prediction OS

Nandini is really heartbroken that Manik broke her blank promise. Manik has a confrontation with Nandini and here is how it goes or rather how I imagine it would go...

Manik: "Nandini you dim-wit, when will you understand that you are hurting yourself by distancing yourself from me?"

Nandini:"And Manik when will you understand that whatever I am doing is for us!!!"

Manik: "Really? For us? Have you ever EVER thought even for a second what I am going through to see you like this?"

Nandini:" Exactly Manik that is why. I can't hurt you because of my own problems."

Manik: "Own Problems? Say that again Nandini." Manik pulls Nandini closer. Nandini looks down.

Manik:" You said na Fireflies drive away darkness. They bring light?"

Nandini silently nods.

Manik: "Nandini...I want to be your firefly. Please let me be your firefly."

Nandini looks up at Manik with tearful eyes.

Manik pleads through his eyes.

Nandini remains silent.

Manik: " Has Pandit...damaged you to such an extent that there is no hope left? Tum humesha baat karti thin about hope. So where is that hope now? I want that hope Nandini Murthy. "

Nandini: "I really don't know Manik...I don't feel like I used to..nothing feels the same. I am so scared all the time...So scared of your touch. How will you be able to make me the person I was once again?"

Manik: "Just like you made me Manik from Monster Manik. I was heartless Nandini..you made me realize that I too have a heart that feels & that beats for you every second. Please give us a chance. Please."

Nandini: "Manik...I need some time."

Manik: "Take all the time...but just make sure that its not too late Nandini."

Nandini: "Manik are you giving me a deadline?"

Manik: "God! No Nandini how can you even think that...I am just saying that two can play this game."

Nandini: "Matlab?"

Manik: "Matlab..if u can hurt yourself & distance yourself from me...I can hurt myself too..."

Nandini is panic-stricken and hold Manik's arms :"Manik tum aisa kuch bhi nahin karogay please."

Manik: "Why? When Nandini Murthy does it, its fair but when Manik Malhotra does it its not fair?"

Manik pumps his fist at the wall and cries out in pain.

Nandini takes hold of Manik's hands and gently caresses it. She starts crying and her tear drops fall on Manik's knuckles one by one.

Manik lovingly looks at her face: "Why are you crying?"

Nandini looks angrily at Manik: "Do you even need to ask that?"

Manik: "Under the current circumstances yes..."

Nandini: "Because you are hurt."

Manik: "So?"

Nandini: "So its hurting me"

Manik: "But my hand got injured so why is it hurting you?"

Nandini looks on at Manik.

Manik mockingly says: "Come on Nandini Murthy the intelligent Science student say something."

Nandini has a flash-back of Manik lying in the hospital with his bruised hand and how she had distanced herself from him, she recollects how Mr. Khurana's warning had forced her to stay away from Manik but she couldn't, she recalls how Manik had said he hates her, but then went on to confess his love to her. She re-collects the confession night and writing I love you on Manik's hands.

She looks up at Manik with conviction and tearful eyes...

"Because I love you Manik."

Manik is stunned by her sudden confession. She is still holding his hands and tears are running down. She pulls him close to her with a jerk angrily...

"Suna tumnay Manik Malhotra because I love you. Dard tumhe hota hai par ansoo meray behtay hain...I can't see you pain..and I am tired of distancing myself from you, of running away form you. Coz no matter what God always leads us back to each other." She hastily wipes her tears in vain.

Manik lovingly holds her face with a victorious expression and wipes her tears: "Then don't run away from me."

Nandini looks into Manik's eyes: "Please save me...please don't let me lose myself.Please Manik...I am scared of losing myself."

Manik embraces her tightly:"Oh Nandini! No...I won't let you lose you, I won't Nandu..." His voice is choked.

Nandini:" Your hand? Is it still hurting?"

Manik: "Umm...no...NO...infact I was acting...just to..."

Nandini looks up at Manik: "Just to?"

Manik looks guilty:"Just to hear you confess, you know..it's been pending since long"

Nandini's expression changes to anger and she playfully punches Manik in the gut: "You ...what??"

Manik catches hold of her wrist and pulls her close.

"This is my Nandini...brave, playful..full of hope.."

Nandini blushes.

Manik: "Say that again."

Nandini: "What?"

Manik:"Arrey what you just said"

Nandini:"That your hand is hurting?"

Manik shakes his head:"No"

Nandini: "Manik...what..?"

Manik:"Nothing ...leave it."

Manik turns around and is about to walk away when Nandini says: "I love you...I always will Manik"

Manik halts and kisses Nandini.
