Actors often use their celebrity status to draw attention to or spread awarness about social causes.In the latest such instance.several tv stars have come together to support the girl child by featuring in a music video shot by director waseem sabir-who has previously helmed popular tv serials like Maryada and Phir subah hogi-the music video will focus on the importance of raising a girl child with love and care.Singer suhail Zargar has sung the song titled 'o meri jaan' .He also stars in the video along with six year old child actor Ruhana Khanna,who plays the lead role in a prime timd show that is currently being directed by waseem.Excited about her first video,Ruhana says,"Shooting for it was fun.I am particularly happy about the message it sends out.A daughter is always her papa's princess,and my papa will always be special for me".More than 15 other actors will be seen in the music video.The list includes Ritvik,Eijaz,Iqbal,Gautam,Kamya p,Riddhi and SURBHI JYOTI among others.WASEEM PLANS TO RELEASE THE MUSIC VIDEO ONLINE ON FATHERS DAY(JUNE 21).
