I mean I thought he was all right till 2 States. I liked that he chose that movie. But at this point, I stopped being interested in what he does for the same reason as Parineeti, versatility. I think he needs to make better and different script choices.

I don't know about being disliked but he is certainly not as popular as the top new male leads (varun, sid, etc). I think Tevar sort of threw everyone off because this is a time for the new actors to prove themselves and even one bad movie can cost you a large portion of your newly formed fanbase.

Like you mentioned. There' something about his offscreen persona which is very annoying. Perhaps the way he carries himself.

I actually liked him in 2States but his offscreen IV's are a big put off. And the whole love angle with Alia. 😆 He looked desperate!

He looked raw and rugged in Ishaqzaade and I remember having a crush on him. He also gave that intense brooding vibe during interviews and I liked him.

But then, everything went downhill. He gained weight, made poor choices, talked crap most of the time and I think he tries to ape Ranveer a lot nowadays. I don't really dislike him. He just needs to get his act back together and he'll be fine I guess.
