Surprised? So are we!

Karan Johar has flown off to London, and the buzz is, he is unlikely to return before his birthday on May 25.

This is so unlike KJo who loves to have a big bash on his birthday with his Bollywood friends every year.

What happened this year? Why does he want to have a relatively quiet birthday? Did he want to avoid drawing up a guest list which might not translate into Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan's arrival at the party? Your guess is as good as ours. For those who've come in late, KJo doesn't have his old, fabulous equation with Shah Rukh anymore. And we know, Salman turned down KJo's Shuddhi perhaps because he stood as a mute spectator when Tanmay Bhatt passed an unfair remark about someone extremely dear to him. KJo turns 43 on Monday.

Lol no wonder he is sticking to his SOTY kids, Khans are annoyed, Ranbir is MIA. Ab insaan kare tou kya kare?

He was part of AIB roast with Ranveer and Arjun, the AIB comedians made fun of Salman's sister Arpita because she was Arjun's ex. Salman called them up and demanded that they edit out any mention of her in the video.

Did you miss the whole AIB hullabaloo? 😆

He probably just wants to celebrate it with his close friends. I dont think he panders to or runs after the BW bigwigs anymore. Incidentally, Manish Malhotra too left for London 😛
