I think they want to show honour killings because of caste conflicts through Kamili Gopal track
Also they used this track to show how Kundan's family members behave in a given situation.
We got to know that Akheraj rules his family with an iron fist crushes their hopes and desires under his own ego if it they don't match his line of thinking
He doesn't hesitate to take lives to ensure his agenda is implemented
Harki thinks of only her son and daughter she doesn't think beyond that.Tolerating abusive husband is a part of tradition for her . Just like her husband she too doesn't respect women including herself.
Kamili the escapist she only knows that she doesn't want her life become like her mother's . She wants to try out the new world but doesn't have guts to stand up to her father neither does she have guts to run away . Nandini helped her run away but she is too busy seeking pleasure in small things instead of planning for a new life . She is going to bring destruction.
Mangala Devi all she knows is that what ever is happening in that household is wrong but she doesn't know what is right either . She doesn't have guts or backbone to voice her opinion instead she uses an ineffective weapon which brings temporary relief.
Kundan believes in walking down the path his father has taken . He has this sense of entitlement which makes him think he owns his wife.
Lastly there is the little princess who stands up for what she thinks is right and questions the injustice that is being meted out to people around her . She wants to do the right thing she has a voice and a backbone but lacking in experience and wisdom.
I think Pushkar Kamli marriage will happen because of Pushkar himself and probably through him Kamili will get to see a better man even if he is only half grown mentally.
This whole Kamili Gopal Akheraj track is to show how dangerous Akheraj is and later on when Anandi confronts him there will be enough reasons for her to decimate this man.
Kundan and Nandini story I don't think is going to end with the mother daughter reunion.
Looks like the girl is going to fight the boy because she doesn't accept her marriage the boy refusing to relinquish his rights.
Anandi fighting with Akheraj for her daughter probably with the help of women from his family.
