In every forum,at least those in which I have written the stories,I went through similar things.
Those who writes stories in the forum,I think they will agree with me at one point that it requires a lot of time to create one update because we have to plan first and then we have to mould it in a update.But there are some readers who are known as the silent readers,I don't know whats the problem with them.They will never comment but they always need regular and early updates.
It takes almost more than half a day to write one update but to read it takes only 5-10 minutes hardly.But there are some readers who will read when they have free time and in leisures but they will always spam for regular updates.The most funny thing is that they can read but their hands break while typing their comments.If after not getting replies for a long time,the writer stops giving pms to those readers then also they will send messages and enquire about why we stop giving them messages.To them here Iam saying that writers are not your entertainment machines,we too take out times to write updates from our busy schedules,so don't think that you are the only busy ones here.
Only the writers know feedbacks and comments are how much necessary because after all we don't write for ghosts and comments help us to improve our stories.
I don't have any complaints for the silent readers,but I have complaints for those silent readers,who never comment but send messages regarding quick updates.I can't force anyone to comment but literally these silent readers don't have any rights to ask for updates.
As a writer I don't expect that 50 readers will read my story and don't want 50 readers because out of 50 if 40 are ghosts then Iam very happy with my 10 regular readers,I don't want the rest 40's.I will write happily for those 10.
I think every writer in the forum will agree with me and I think all the writers are facing these things.
NB :- Again Iam mentioning that this post is for those silent readers who reads but doesn't comment and enquires if we stop pming them and ask for quick updates.The silent readers who just read and don't demand anything,I don't have any issues with them.So please don't confuse.
