Sonakshi for Sarabjit?

First, it was Kangana Ranaut, then Priyanka Chopra and now another name has been thrown in the ring for actress to play Sarabjit Singh's sister in the biopic. Buzz doing the rounds is that filmmaker Omung Kumar, who is now directing the film, is being inundated with calls from people recommending actresses for the part. Our source reveals, "Sonakshi's presence at Omung's recent bash to celebrate the National Award win has sparked off these speculations that she might end up doing the role. Sonakshi, we hear is quite interested to be a part of the project. Her name was always in the running but now, after Kangana's exit, Sonakshi is back in the picture." Omung, however, maintains a very non- committal stance. He says, "Right now, I am only re-working the script and making the changes. I hadn't approached Kangana, but about the other names, I can only tell you after this week when I will lock in on the casting."
