I think dating cousins is not wrong as long as they r not related as brother or sister...

Anil Kapoor said in an interview that they aren't relatives, but Anil's mom was close to Krishna Raj Kapoor as Surinder was Geeta Bali's assistant and they, Raj and Surinder, were neighbors those days.

If I'm not wrong Aditya Raj Kapoor also said they (Raj and Surinder) were country cousins. Both were from same 'gaon' of Peshawar. If that makes them cousins then Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor are also cousins.

There is at least one person - Madhu Jain - who wrote a book about the Kapoors who claims that Surinder and Prithviraj are related. I'm not sure when Anil claimed they weren't and why. But yes, the relation is not very close - more like distant family.

Dilip and Raj are related - although I'd be damned if I can remember how - heck even Salma Agha is Raj Kapoor ki rishtedar!
