Laying down rules lends predictability to a show- that means less room for controversy-less curiosity- less discussion-and less propaganda-what about ratings? Keep the suspense up until the last minute-that is the doctine.

Hey Sadhana.......I beg your pardon, your reasoning is a bit ridiculous....

All games in the world are played by RULES.....

Imagine a game of cricket without rules, umpire decides that the 9th batsman is NOT OUT - it's a twist - because I felt like a CHANGE.....

Imagine a game of Chess.....one step away from Check-mate....the pawn can move 3 steps instead of 1 step...in the name of TWIST.....

HOWZZAT???????????

Fame gurukul is not a game of chess and cricket; in fact , it is not a game at all-it is a reality show-and who can guarantee fairness in reality?

Rules apply in reality too my dear girl......

It applies to everything in life which is true and correct.....you go to the bus stop and expect bus no. 122 to come every 15 mins...that is a rule....imagine a twist here??????

you go to school and expect to answer from your syllabus - thats a rule....imagine a twist.....

Imagine KBC - where they suddenly decide that your first question is worth 2 crores....twist...

The list can go and on.....

There is no game / game show - that can be played without rules.....

Would you put your money on a race.....if you did not know the rules....that the first horse who crosses the finish line wins....suppose there was a twist??????

But there are so many reality shows both in india and the US, look at in the Us we have fear factor, the apprentice just to name a few, the show people dont decide at the last minute that this time we will have two winners, or three winners at the last minute, the game is played within the framework of rules and regulations, this is blatantly unethical of sony and doesnt make the show more exciting but just aids in losing its credibility.sorry to disagree on this.
