If I am not mistaken, Baazigar is the first major, successful film in Shilpa and Kajol's careers. Kajol's debut was a flop.

Anushka and Deepika are others who benefitted working with SRK.

Infact when they showed the pic of SRK to Juhi...she was like ..I don't want to work with him...look at his hair..he looks untidy and ugly...remember SRK telling it on one episode of KWK...😆

I have read here that Bombay velvet is an art film and RK's role is experimental - so said by RK fans. This couldnt have been any farther from the truth. BV is the same run of the mill story set in an expensive settings - thats all. It is the same story told by others like RGV who have done it better.Very conventional story from start to finish. RK's role has been played by others before.

The disasters listed by SRK are Paheli, Asoka, Ra One - now these stories are truly unconventional and also weird because they have never been told before. SRK has taken up more unconventional roles/movies than people give him credit for. Some of them have failed - at least he failed when trying out something new.

How ridiculous to even compare this kid who came yesterday on the shoulders of his family name to SRK who was an outsider and made in on his own and has been going strong in this industry for almost 25 years...seriously...Ranbir is not even .00001% of SRK🤢

5 crores is a huge question mark on Ranbir. That much it could have opened with Anushka alone after all the promotions and stuff.

SRK did not make careers of Juhi, Divya and Kajol. Juhi was a star when she worked with SRK. Divya, Kajol and SRK were all new together. Baazigar was Shilpa's debut and Kajol's 2nd movie. He made careers out of Rani, Preity, Deepika, Anushka. Gayatri Joshi could have gone far if she didn't decide to settle down.

Now, I can spin it another way too. Rani, preity's careers ended after working with SRK in KANK. Kareena's downhill started after Ra.One, Katrina's after JTHJ...heck even Anushka decided to ruin her face around JTHJ. SRK practically ended Priyanka's career ...which ironically Barfi revived.

So what does it mean?

It's really easy to spin things in any way you want based on who we like, don't like.

Anyways, I don't think Ranbir is the next SRK at all. Are we back to comparing everyone with SRK? 😆

Haha Srk made Divya, Juhi and Kajol's career 😆😆 divya was a bigger star when she did Deewana which was Srk's debut and she was simultaneously doing 4-5 films with top stars, Juhi was already established a Kajol was a star kid she would have got many offers even if baazigar didn't work, the only ones who got benefited from Srk's stardom was Deepika and Anuska. Btw Gayatri Joshi, hrishita bhatt's career ended after working with Srk

LOLL yup..how was Ranbir going to save careers of those who had none to begin with? people come up with anything nowadays. 😆 WUS is one of Ranbir's best movies..but oh wait, he ruined Konkona's career...🤪
