When SS began, division of the seven days of the week between the mothers was one of the highlights of most episodes. It was one of the biggest reasons that the girl who came to see Vihaan almost ran for her life 😆 The importance that their respective days held for each mother, and their bickering and fights over their right on Vihaan on "their" day was a very sweet, unique and touching part of the story. But after ArHaan's wedding - even after Vihaan's return to the house - this vital part of the Vatsal family routine was ignored. I can understand that it had to be put on the backburner because there were other, more pressing, problems, but now that it has come back into the spotlight with Neelima gifting her day to Aarushi during her bidaai, I hope this aspect of the story will be given its due importance.

Neelima's gift of her day to Aarushi was a sweet gesture. But I felt it wasn't as significant or poignant as it should have been. For many reasons. She did it on the day she was moving out of the house and she is now immersed in her married life, and her husband has become the focus of her life. So the importance of that day for her felt diluted somehow for me as a viewer.

But in case of the other mothers, I don't want them to give up their individual days so easily, and for these kind of reasons. I want to see interesting sequences between the moms and Vihaan and Aarushi revolving around this division of days, be it fun or serious. Each mother's dynamics with ArHaan should be shown and explored fully before they give their days to Aarushi. There is a lot of scope for superb scenes and beautiful episodes between all the characters with this 7-day system. Don't want the CVs to ruin the potential with their usual, frantic hurry to bring good tracks to an end asap 😳 😆

Yeah, I used to really enjoy those scenes :) Want to see more of that, and more importantly, I want to see how Aarushi deals with all the fighting and hungama surrounding her husband 😆 Wish we get to see all of that

I 100% agree ranju and I loved your post :)
I always loved the concept of the 1 day of the week per each mother, it was so innovative!
It really helped to give viewers a taste of what each mother is like, their R/ship with vihaan and with each other.
Neelima gave up both her day and office time with vihaan. Her giving her day to Aarushi as well as wanting to give her office time to her was a very nice gesture, I appreciated it. It made me feel like she really accepted Aarushi and her relationship with vihaan wholeheartedly.
I guess in a way these moms held onto vihaan so fiercely, it was sometimes borderline intolerable 😆
I think now that neelima has that significant other in her life, she feels how important it is to have time and importance in your significant other's life.
This was so lacking in ArHaan relationship, but obviously not on vihaans part. As viewers we know and we can see how much Aarushi means to vihaan and how highly he thinks of her. But we can also see how the mothers can sometimes downplay her importance.
Neelima giving her day away was nice to me because it gave her this little bit of 'public importance' in every mothers eyes. That yes, along with us mothers, Aarushi now also has a day :)

I reallly hope cvs incorporate this 7 day a week cycle, I miss seeing all the mothers playing pivotal roles. So far cvs have kinda always neglected both Gita and Harpreet, and I love Harpreet! So I'm sad 😆

Wohi toh! It was the one of the most innovative and cutest parts of the show, and usko hi bhool gaye yeh CVs :| 😆

As for Neelima... yes, I did find her gift to be sweet and I appreciate it too, but I felt that act would have been much more meaningful if she had done it while she was still living in the house, and if she didn't have Gautam in her life. She moved out of the house and quit her job too because she wants to enjoy her married life. That is very understandable. But at the same time (this is probably just me being my mean self 😆 ) the situation made me feel that her gift was based more on convenience rather than affection for Aarushi 😆 So while I appreciated her gift, I didn't find the gesture to be as touching or emotional as I should have :/

If one of the mothers gives her day to Aarushi despite living in the same house and not having any other bright spot in her life apart from Vihaan... That would be a truly momentous occasion I feel 😳

Yeah, Geeta and Harpreet have really been ignored until now. I want to see each mother being given equal importance. It would be great to have lovely scenes with each of the moms with ArHaan.

I agree ranju, her gift did seem like it was the most convenient option (either way I'm glad it happened!)
It definitely would have made a bigger impact if she was living there with them. But in all honesty, none of these moms are THAT giving to give up their day with vihaan, while present with him in that house. The only person I expect this from is narmada.
