Note: I am doing this WU on Reshu's behalf.
Scene 1
We're shown the last scene from the previous episode once again; Daya sir falling off the rocks, getting injured and ending up lying on the railroad. A train rapidly approaches and the screen blacks out.
Scene 2
The scene switches to a large royal-looking palace at nighttime. A man cloaked in shawl walks up its length and into a room where we see Daya sir bandaged and sleeping. He picks up a pair of scissors by the bedside and slowly turns towards Daya sir, who suddenly seizes his arm and wrestles him to the ground. The other residents of the palace rush into the room hearing the commotion. Daya sir pulls off the intruder's cloak and he turns out to be the owner Suryakanth's son Milind. He says Milind had just attempted to stab him and he's now feeling unsafe in the place, despite their claims of trying to help him recover. Milind says he had just come there to change Daya sir's bandages. His father reprimands him for entering the room so late at night, and tells the others to not trouble Daya sir in any way. The latter admits he's probably being paranoid, and bids them all goodnight. The daughter Archana there tries to talk to him, but the others stop her and take her with them. Once alone, Daya sir says he wishes to be back with his team as soon as possible.
Scene 3
Abhijeet sir, Purvi, Shreya, Pankaj and Nikhil are seen enquiring in the city about Daya sir, worried about him. Eventually they arrive at a barn where a man remembers seeing him coming injured from the direction of the railroad and getting into a white sedan there, which was then driven away by a girl. The man couldn't see the girl's face or car model/number, but informs that it drove towards Faltan (?). The team follows its trail.
Scene 4
Daya sir is seen moving weakly through the palace, his vision still blurred. We see servants preparing to lay out a meal nearby. He picks up a couple of phones and fruitlessly tries to dial. The palace residents arrive and inform him that due to security concerns, all phone and cellular lines inside the vicinity have been disconnected. Daya sir says he's not strong enough to go out alone and needs to contact his team. They say he can do it once he's recovered. Archana suggests she needs his help, but the others subdue her again and invite Daya sir to lunch. He refuses and they ask the servant to take his food to his room. There's suddenly a crash and scream; Daya sir is alarmed but the people say there's some construction work going on and it's just some worker's sound. Daya sir gets suspicious and slowly moves away, having painful recollections of how he saw the approaching train on the railway and just managed to get away in time. Outside the dining hall, he sees a servant taking food to another room and his suspicion grows since the whole family is supposed to be in the dining hall, and the food doesn't seem to be for a worker either.
Scene 5
In the city, a man suddenly crashes with the CID car and falls down. Alarmed, they get out attending to him and calling for an ambulance. The locals start blaming them for rash driving, but it's soon revealed that the man Nagesh has been shot in the neck. Nikhil and Shreya go to search for the shooter, but fail to find him/her. Nagesh breathes his last requesting the CID team to save one Urmila, who is his wife according to the crowd. Abhijeet sir asks Pankaj to contact the local police station and watch the body, and asks the locals for Nagesh's house.
Scene 6
Back in the haveli, Daya sir is seen wondering about how he's feeling weak and sleepy all the time, and the residents have blocked all phone lines in there. He also remembers the scream he had heard, and construes there's someone else in the palace apart from them. At this point, he hears the family leaving to attend a wedding and decides this is a perfect opportunity to investigate and find out more. When the servant comes in with his medicine, he only pretends to consume it and once the guy has left, quietly walks to the door to which he had seen the other servant taking food previously. He finds it locked and is checking when Milind's wife spots him and demands what he's doing. Daya sir quickly gives some excuse and walks back to his room, though the lady grows suspicious. (Outstanding performance by sir here 👏 👏).
Scene 7
Abhijeet sir, Purvi, Shreya and Nikhil taken to Nagesh's house by the locals. They find the door open and go inside to find Urmila lying dead with her throat slit, with no apparent signs of any struggle. Pankaj arrives with a local inspector Akhil, who talks to Nikhil about Nagesh. The cops search the house and Shreya finds huge bundles of cash discreetly hidden away. Purvi finds jewelery hidden in the kitchen. Abhijeet sir construes that the killer's motive wasn't robbery, since these valuables were untouched and there are no signs of the house being searched prior to this. The locals inform that Urmila worked as a cook in the haveli while another neighbour says Nagesh was a thief. Abhijeet sir dismisses them, and Nikhil expresses suspicion on the neighbour's behaviour during their investigation. Abhijeet sir instructs to keep an eye on him and asks Akhil to send the recovered valuables to Mumbai. He says they need to find out where Nagesh got them from and how he knew Urmila was going to be murdered, and adds they'll both solve this case and find Daya sir.
Scene 8
We see Daya sir in the haveli at night, asserting that the palace residents must be preparing to sleep after dinner. He sneaks out after covering himself and finds the door of his suspicion unlocked. He goes inside and finds the room empty, but soon finds a human nail on the floor, which seems to have been torn off. He hears footsteps and discreetly observes two thuggish looking fellas meeting someone at the threshold, and then moving out of the palace. Daya sir follows them.
Scene 9
We see our team waiting outside a house. Purvi informs Abhijeet sir that they're spread word of more valuables being present there, in hopes that it'll lure Urmila's killer to that place for them to catch.
Scene 10
We see ACP sir, Freddy sir, Sachin sir, Divya and Vansh in the bureau with a jewels expert, who examines the stolen jewels and informs them that they are of a very rare and expensive make, which were only made in the 17th to 19th century for two royal families, Gangol and Nacchi. He adds that by 1950, the Gangol family left while the Nacchi family still lives there in one Bawri Haveli. ACP sir construes Urmila used to work in this haveli, and wonders how she got her hands on those jewels.
Scene 11
We switch back to Daya sir following those two guys with the rest of the team keeping an eye on Nagesh's neighbour. The latter notices the cops and shouts at the other two to run. There's a commotion; Nikhil runs after the crooks whereas the others collide with Daya sir and are relieved and happy to be back with him. Daya sir informs them how the girl Archana brought him to the Bawri Haveli from Satara, how the family seems to be holding and torturing someone in the haveli, and how these two thugs had been meeting someone there. Abhijeet sir gives the torn nail to Pankaj to be sent to the lab. Daya sir parts with them saying the family must not find out about him leaving the haveli.
Scene 12
In the morning, Daya sir greets the family cheerfully at breakfast, saying he's much better and will soon take leave. None of them except Archana seems pleased to hear this; they insist he must stay until he fully recovers. At this point, Abhijeet sir and Purvi enter disguised as Daya sir's bhaiya-bhabhi 🤣 and claim that some people they knew had informed them about his whereabouts. After some hilarious and enjoyable comic interaction, they take him inside and then discuss how the family is clearly alarmed by their presence and seems to be hiding something big. Abhijeet sir notices Archana is different from the others, and Daya sir says they have been telling stories about having returned from the US only 6 months ago. He adds that he found out the medicines they had been giving him were in fact sedative drugs, and he avoided taking them so he could recover. They decide to search the haveli properly to find out what the root of all this is, and first provide a distraction to get the family out of the place.
Scene 13
In the bureau, ACP sir is seen enquiring on phone if the family had indeed returned from the USA as claimed. Sachin sir enters with the forensic report showing that the torn nail has DNA matches of two different people - a man and woman. ACP sir says it cannot be any of the family members they know about, or Abhijeet sir and Daya sir would've noticed the injuries. Freddy sir finds out that Archana has a criminal record - she's a criminal named Dolly who's been in remand for a while. The aviation service contacts ACP sir with details.
Scene 14
Outside the haveli, Shreya, Nikhil, Pankaj and Akhil are seen questioning the family about Nagesh and Urmila's murders and the family jewels having been found in their house. Meanwhile our duo and Purvi search the now vacant haveli thoroughly and Daya sir finds the legal papers of the place indicating that it was going to be sold. Abhijeet sir asks Purvi to contact the lawyer who prepared these papers. They enter a hidden room where we see a man and woman being held hostage. Daya sir texts the team outside informing that the work is done, and they may leave. They do as told and the family is relieved until their lawyer enters, saying they're in trouble and immediately need to get some papers signed. The family is alarmed but prepares to do as told, and on going inside is shocked to see their captives, Ranjeet and Shyamlee, facing them. Our duo and Purvi (somehow back in normal clothes) confront them as well, and Ranjeet reveals both of them were being held captive by Suryakanth and his family, who are not actual owners of the haveli but frauds. The family draws weapons and opens fire, but our cops simply take cover and wait for them to run out of ammunition, following which they are captured and treated to a buffet of slaps.
Suryakanth reveals they had nearly finalized their plans to seize and sell the long-vacant haveli, when its real owners Ranjeet and Shyamlee turned up. So they captured and imprisoned them, hoping to get their signatures on the papers. Dolly reveals that she had been their accomplice, but wanted to amend her ways and thus they threatened to kill her unless she co-operated with them. So when Daya sir desperately got into her car after being injured and she found out who he was, she brought him to the haveli hoping he could help her. She tried keeping his identity a secret, but Milind found his badge and from then the family prevented him from leaving the haveli and gave him sedatives. Abhijeet sir says the haveli will now be returned to its rightful owners and the fraud family will be sent behind the bars. Daya sir says they'll try to have Dolly's punishment reduced since she's been reforming herself. They are all taken away and Akhil receives news about a body being found.
Scene 15
The team arrives where the body of a man, apparently a skilled killer himself, has been found fatally shot in the chest. An envelope was found in his possession, which contains photos of a lady and two men, one of them crossed out and the following message on its back - "Kaam tamaam kar do iss strawberry ka Arthur aur Wilson ke sheher mein GP pe jaakar". They construe this man had been paid to murder the person whose photo has been crossed. Purvi wonders who the other two are. Abhijeet sir asserts Arthur point, Wilson point and Strawberry all point to locations in Mahabaleshwar. He instructs Nikhil to send the photos to the bureau while they prepare to leave for Mahabaleshwar and investigate.
