Waise Baba Montunath, pehli kamayi= laxmi is correct idealogy in India but Laxmi means ghar ki laxmi. Not just any randomlaxmi. YOu could have bought a saree for an elderly person like Uma's badi maa or something. You can also do some daan in any temple.

BUT you gave your pehli kaamai to a girl. This is not really a good example. Beware ! Storm is approaching. Also, don't gift the already gifted salwar suit to Amaya only because it fits her size. This way you will insult both the laxmis and one of your laxmi has already taken a Mahakali avatar.

I think he gifted it more to her because she is his best friend. He doesn't feel more than friendship for her, which some people look at it wrong way. And Uma has clearly taken Mantu. Friendship wrong way!!
