3.35pm A sobering piece of news from Nagraj Gollapudi, who's at the ground:

"David Miller was practising the pull shot close to the boundary rope in front of the Gate 14 stand and towards the end he hit one straight into the stands, past the low netting. Unfortunately the ball thudded straight into the chest of a young boy who fainted immediately. The youngster was carried off by a cop to the Punjab Cricket Association premises.

"This is the second occasion during this IPL that Miller has been involved in an incident of this nature: in a group match against Kolkata Knight Riders, one of his sixes hit a fan flush in the right eye. The Indian Express reported today that the fan lost sight in his right eye."
