The besties reunite for a young love story that FK will direct and Shah Rukh will produce

Shah Rukh Khan's screen collaborations with his director buddy Farah Khan have always been elaborate larger-than-life spectacles.

Save for Tees Maar Khan, all her films so far have starred SRK. But his next with her is a relatively small film that stars younger actors. And King Khan's contribution to the project, is that he is on board as a producer.

"I don't know about the cast and whether SRK will be there in it, but he has read the script and he likes it too. He definitely wants to produce it," Farah confirmed to this paper.

Also, this will be the first film that she hasn't written. She says, "Someone from London sent me this lovely young, fresh love story. I quite like it. In fact, I'm mulling over it. It may or may not be my next film, but this script is something I've quite liked."

We recently told you how Farah responded to a tweet by former One Direction singer Zayn Malik, who said he was a big fan of Main Hoon Na. By suggesting that they work together on the sequel! Zayn's a youth icon, casting him in her next (why just MHN2, right?) would make sense.

Moreover, Shah Rukh met him in London recently and the two bonded. Shah Rukh even posted a pic of them together. Fingers crossed on this one.
