His words kept repeating in my head, I couldn't sleep ,eat or do anything because I was not In the correct frame of mind. Well who would be after getting friend by the guy on whom you have been crushing for like all of your school life...
It happened last Friday when connor asked for my help, he wanted to know that how he could ask a girl for the homecoming dance without getting rejected...
The idiot that I am, I had my hopes on the ninth cloud, ofcourse I thought that he was talking about me...ridiculous. Anyways I told him that no girl in her dreams would think of rejecting a guy like him, he just needs to sound sincere n he should know that his smile alone could do wonders...
I waited the whole day for him to approach me and he did , when I was waiting for my best friend alex-in the parking lot.
My heart was beating like the wings of a hummingbird, all I wished was for him to ask me out, but what he said next broke my heart to millions of pieces ...
"thanks so much emery , I don't know what I would do without you, you are the bestest friend I could ask for. She said yes, I was so worried that she would reject me, I am so happy." He said and hugged me tight...
I was dumbfounded after hearing what he said , my heart was aching and there was nothing that I wanted to do other that going home that very second but a question still left my mouth ...
"who is she?"
"Ashley" he said beaming, I had to admit, I had never seen him this happy.
"okay" I nearly whispered and sprinted towards the exit before he could see that I was crying a waterfall...
ASHLEY- ofcourse it had to be that b***h , I know I am not the one to swear but I can't help it...
How clich my life was...
Ashley was the typical head cheerleader of our cheerleading team and connor was the sweetest guy who had a bad boy edge to him... PERFECT... But she didn't even deserve him n yeah I forgot she was my ex-bff... popularity got to her head and she tossed me away like trash, ofcourse she would say yes to connor , she knew I liked him...

Alex- my best friend now- was forgotten, I had too much on my mind.. the weather was reflecting the storm inside me , I was a mess,and god knew that ... As much as I wanted for the rain to not come... it came with thunder and lightening...
I was walking down the - now empty - road to my home when I heard the sound of a bike coming from behind me... I could feel it coming closer and I waited for it to pass but it stopped next to me...
I had an inkling as to who it could be but I avoided it and continued walking without giving any heed to the biker...
He again started the bike just to stop next to me again, I was 101% sure now who it was... The only person who always found a way to always find me when I was ready to rip anyone's head off...
Yes! I was angry, crazy angry , and if it was who I thought it was then that person was going to get it from me...
I snapped my head towards him, only to be greeted by that smug expression on his face, oh that conceited bas***d...
" hellooo emery, what a pleasant surprise" he said , his smug smile the constant expression on his face..
"pleasant my foot, roman" I nearly sneered when I said his name...
