Saif-Kangana starrer Suspect X delayed for Ajay's Drishyam?

The Sujoy Ghosh directorial, Bollywood remake of Keigo Higashino's novel The Devotion of Suspect X is not going to roll in April, as it was reported earlier. The film's shooting has been pushed to September now.

The film from the banner of Balaji has been in news since a very long time. After much ado, Kangana Ranuat and Saif Ali Khan were cast in the lead role. But looks like the actors have to adjust their datesheets now and accommodate it in September.

On an interesting note, Nishikant Kamat's Drishyam starring Ajay Devgn which is a hindi remake of Malayalam movie which too is the adaptation of the same book, is releasing on July 31st. The makers of Suspect X will get to see Ajay's film, before they start shooting theirs.

So the delay is likely to work in the favor of the Sujoy's film. In a report published in Hindustan Times, a source was quoted, "Apart from making sure that there are no visual similarities between the two projects, this delay will also give their film some breathing space after Ajay's movie releases."

That sounds a fair move to us! Right?
