Virika OS:

Manvi popped out of the huge gift box, Jeevika couldn't believe her eyes, her baby sister was there and her husband had brought her all the way. She was astounded, speechless, she just hugged her sister so tight as if they had met after years when in reality it had only been a week.

Viren was probably smiling as much as Jeevika was seeing the smile on her face. He knew that Jeevika would've been happy with anything he had gifted her, even if she didn't like, she was the kind of person to openly accept anything anyone gave her with open arms. She was never the kind of person to upset anyone and always made sure that she made everyone happy. It was just an instinct to her. But he also knew that bringing Manvi would've have trumped any materialist gift he could get her, for her family was everything, her loved ones were the most important people in her life.

Soon after their emotional reunion, the rest of Jeevika's family walked in singing happy birthday, if her smile could get any bigger, it did, seeing her parents, grandma, uncle, aunt and brother all she could do was run to them crying happy tears. It was all a bit moving for everyone to see, especially for Viren.

The party commenced and soon enough everyone was enjoying themselves, the Vadhera's house...well mansion was filled with excited family and friends.

Viren excused himself from his guests and went in search of his beautiful wife. Everyone was here, even Manvi, but madam was nowhere in sight. He frowned and asked around for his wife, he needed to speak to her, with all the travelling he had hardly spoken to her since the night before.

Entering his room he saw the balcony door open, closing and locking their bedroom door he walked up to the balcony finding his wife in that enticing orange sari leaning forward on the cool granite railing staring off into the distance, her arms wrapped around her midsection, in an attempt to keep herself warm.

Viren couldn't resist but wrap his arms around his gorgeous wife, she immediately snapped out of her thoughts feeling his warmth envelop her. Placing his chin on her right shoulder he let his breath fan over her ear.

"Happy Birthday Mrs Vadhera"

"Thank you Virenji" she leaned into him finding total peace in his arms.

"What happened, how come you're up here while the party's going on?"

She turned around in his arms smiling

"Just. Thank you Virenji, for everything. This is the best birthday ever"

"You're welcome" he nudged his nose with her making her laugh

"This is seriously the best birthday I've ever had, no one has ever done so much for me before"

"This is my duty Mrs Vadhera, in fact I don't think I've done much, if I could I would bring the stars for you"

"There's no need for that, I have everything I want on earth"

"Really?"

She nodded and turned back around, he let go of her and stood next to her, both gazing into the moon lit back yard. He noticed a change in her expression, a pained look was etched onto her soft features.

"What happened? What happened to that smile?"

She looked at him, trying to force a smile.

"Nothing"

"Jeevika, you do know that you're not very good at hiding your feelings right?"

"It's just...forget it"

"Jeevika..." he whispered

"I was really scared today" she was trying really hard to hold back her tears, which wasn't unnoticed by him.

"I don't think I've ever been that scared before...I thought I could lose you" she looked into his eyes, her eyes sparkling with unshed tears. His face scrunched into a pained expression, he didn't like seeing his wife like this.

"When Virat told me what really happened last night, I couldn't move, I was terrified, and upset. Upset that I didn't know how much danger you were in and that you didn't find it necessary to tell me. And despite what happened last night, you still went out alone today? Why? What was the need? Can you never be selfish? If not for yourself, for me, please never put yourself in danger. If anything happens to you, I don't think I can handle it, I don't have that strength in me."

She couldn't control herself anymore, she broke down, tears flowing freely down her face. Viren was dumbfounded, he had no words. He didn't know what to say to her, he had scared her more than he could imagine. He only wanted to protect her.

"And today, you should've told someone where you were going, why did you leave without telling anyone? You should have told one of the staff members at least, anyone. And your phone, what is the point if you don't have it charged, even then you should've called home, at least once, just to tell us that you were safe, that you were ok. If you do this ever again, I don't know what I'll do"

She held onto his collar that was the only support she had to keep herself upright. He wrapped his arms around her, holding her as close as possible.

"I'm so sorry Jeevika, so so sorry" he whispered into her ear. He really didn't realise how much she had been hurting and didn't want to even imagine what she must have been going through.

At that moment nothing else in the world mattered, just them, together, in each other's arms, that's all that was important. Time passed, they didn't care how much, her cries softened to a stop, her arms moved down to his waist intertwined around his lower back. After a while they pulled out looking into each other's eyes.

"Promise me you won't scare me like this again"

"I promise"

"Good" a slight smile graced her lips

"Jeevika?"

"Hmm" she was playing with the buttons on his shirt while his arms were twined around the small of her back, with slight skin on skin contact.

"Do you love me that much?"

"More than you can imagine" a rosy blush invaded her cheeks as she focused more on the buttons, it was easier than looking into his eyes, she would've melted.

"I love you" he pressed a small kiss onto her forehead, her fingers stopped as she clutched his collar.

"I love you too" she whispered back.

He gently lifted her chin up to look into her mesmerising eyes, his heart nearly stopped at the look of love on her face, the sparkle in her eye, which he knew was for him and only him. He traced a thumb across her jawline, lightly brushing the corner of her mouth. She gasped, her lips parting in the process. It was as if she was a magnet, pulling him closer to her, and he couldn't repel the strong force that was Jeevika.

"Did you enjoy your birthday, and your surprise?"

"So much so that I can't thank you enough"

"Well there is one way to thank me" his eyes dropped to her lips, her eyes following his. As soon as he looked back into her eyes, he found her looking at his lips with the same want and need as him.

His hand moved to the back of her neck, getting tangled in the hair on the base of her head. This action only made her head angle upwards closer to his face, so much so that their noses brushed against each other.

Her hands tightened around his collar, scrunching it up, his hand doing the same in her hair. His lips lightly brushed against hers hesitantly, before she leaned closer after which he firmly placed his lips onto hers. This wasn't their first kiss, for their first kiss was the night before in the confines of the hut in in the middle of the forest. But it did feel like their first, the same feelings, the same intensity, the same passion. It started off slow and gentle, but both of them could only think about the gunshot, and the thought of losing the other was unbearable. Their feelings were portrayed in the kiss, it became faster, rougher, full of want and fear. Their kiss lasted for a good few minutes before Viren pulled away to place kisses on her jawline and neck, but he couldn't part from her lips for that long as she wrapped her arms around his neck, gently pulling on his hair. His lips found hers again for another long passionate kiss. This time Jeevika pulled out for air, Viren leaned down to rest his forehead against hers. Both of their breaths ragged and irregular, a small smile involuntarily placed on their faces. He placed another kiss on her forehead as she shyly placed a small kiss on his cheek.

"We should go back to the party, everyone will be waiting for us" she breathed out, her voice barely audible over their pounding hearts. She moved out of his hold and started to walk back, but he held her arm pulling her back into his embrace.

"Two minutes" she melted against him, breathing in his musky scent, she wanted to memorise him, every part of him.

"We should really get going"

He reluctantly let her go, setting her hair back into place, while she wiped the lipstick stain off his cheek and on the corner of his mouth. Both of them headed back into the party, they were gone for a good half an hour, but no one seemed to notice, everyone was having a too good of a time.

Manvi forced Viren back into his room realising that the couple should have some time for themselves. Viren led Jeevika to sit on the bed while he say in front of her producing a necklace. Jeevika was stunned to see this, he had already given her and done so much for, she didn't need anything more and she couldn't ask for anything more.

Viren explained how he had bought the necklace a year ago, basically the necklace was destined for her. She put it aside onto the night stand while she gazed at her adorable husband. He held her hand and pulled her onto his lap into a hug. Both of them didn't want to move, they were content where they were.

The clock struck 00:00, startling them both. Jeevika's eyes widened seeing the time, she had to be up in 6 hours. She moved out of his arms as he reluctantly let go of her, understanding that it was time to go to bed and as much as he didn't want to admit it, he was exhausted.

She left to go to the bathroom, while he set up the bed and settled himself on his side, waiting for her. She returned to lay down on her side, but this time positioned herself slightly closer to him, he noticed, smiling inwardly.

She usually slept on her side, and this night was no different, she faced away from him as Viren moved closer to her, cautiously wrapping an arm around her, sneakily slipping under the overcoat of her red nightie. Her breath hitched, she didn't object however, instead placing her hand on top of his, keeping it in place. He smiled into her hair breathing in her fruity scent. Silent good nights' were exchanged, as they both drifted off into a pleasant sleep, as it was the first time they had hugged while sleeping, they began to wonder why they had waited so long to do so.

SO, It has been 2 years since I last posted something on here I think! And I haven't written anything since, so apologies for the awful quality of this OS :/

I have exams soon and this is what I'm up to, oh well.
