Shaurya is Urmi and Samrat's son. However Urmi has sole custody of Shaurya. Samrat tried to kill Urmi and Shaurya and Shaurya knows this. As it happens, Samrat managed to kill a harmless old couple instead. Shaurya now hates and despises his father.
