A protective mother.

Ganga wants to protect her son mannu from his and her past. And also from Jagya anandi's past, maybe.

Ganga wants to protect mannu from Pooja.

Ganga wants to protect Abhi from Shivam.

Protective mother or an insecure woman scared of losing her relationships to her imagination?

Making peace with past and moving on would have been better instead of running away from it.

Jagya Anandi past - Anandi dumped the unpleasant part of her past with Jagya she now just sees him as Dsa's other family and someone who had been her friend from childhood days. No matter what she would never want to revisit her past as Jagya' wife.

Jagya also seemed to have made peace with his past and accepts that he lost a lot due to his own mistakes and he wouldn't want to repeat the mistakes he made in past to spoil his present

Ganga - it looks she ran away from it - she could have handled it by revealing to Mannu that he is the son of her first husband.

Why this insecurity?

If someone have given their all to their relationships they wouldn't be insecure like she is.

If she really loved she would give them freedom be it her son or husband.

It could be. But CVs are not portraying it that way. It looks like she hates Ratan that's why she don't want rattan - mannu meeting. This sounds wrong because she already forgave Ratan and his family, saved Ratan's father giving her blood but is now so fearful that she don't want him to meet Mannu defying what CVs themselves showed earlier.

Anandi-Jagya past can be complicated to tell in detail right now and its not really necessary now as their life is not connected except for both staying at BH. But Ratan-Mannu-Ganga past is clear and can be revealed. What is the complication there! They should have told it earlier itself then all this will not happen.

Noone can expect a mother of teenage son to support love at this age. But the way CVs are showing, the way she tries to stop pooja or pooja-mannu angle seems wrong.

Fears of a mother is not being shown. She is only shown insecure woman taking wrong decisions or doing right thing wrong way.

How is she being protective when she is putting her son in danger ?

How does hiding the truth from her son make her a protective mother?

Why is the promise made by Anandi to a dying man making her so apprehensive and angry and nervous? Simply because she chose to hide the truth by brushing it under the carpet.

It is not Anandi's promise that is bothering her but the fact that she hid the truth and didn't let her son meet his father all these years is bothering her.

Had she made an effort to communicate with her son made him aware of her past and his past and told him that the present is all that matters things would not have been like this.

A mother has every right on her kid it is her equation. But some people have the habit of interfering in others life. So naturally conflict arises.

Anandi can balance her past love and present status but all cannot. Ganga seems to be normal human being.

Ganga did not put gun on anandi s head to bring back mannu. She did it out of her seva mode. Just because you have brought mannu does not mean you will take stand and push on ganga.

Basically all anandi wants is to control over badi haveli matters.

BTW I don't understand with which right she promised Ratan as if Mannu was her son. Even Jagya has no right to make a promise without consulting Ganga. Then how can anandi promise? Wasn't she even contemplating to move out of BH as Ganga was uncomfortable with her. Then how anandi thought it was in her right to make a promise!

Even if anandi did not bring mannu, she would have done the same thing. Even if it is not ganga but sanchi or someone else.

Controlling is a wrong word. Pushing for something right. is the correct word. Now the ball is in ganga's and Jagya's court. Anandi is not keeping a gun on their heads.

Ganga didn't put a gun to Anandi's head and asked her to bring her son back.

But Anandi Jagya and all others assured her that Shiv would bring her son back

When Shiv couldn't do that Ganga did get very upset with Shiv

That was also one reason why Anandi went all out to bring Ganga's son back when she found him.

At that time she was trying to fulfil the promise made by her husband as well as her own duty as a fellow human being.

Now also Anandi had been doing the same

When Anandi risked her life and brought the child back who was Ganga to Anandi? A stranger who was pining for her son and was in need of help and who is Ratan to Anandi? He too is a stranger who is dying and just want to die in peace and wanted just once to meet his son.

How does making a promise to a dying man become interfering in other's matters?

It becomes interfering only because the people who were supposed to fulfil the promise chose to break that promise.

Yes Anandi did not change she is still the same she goes all out to help people who are in trouble or in pain.

That time it had been Ganga and this time it is Ratan.

I dont think it is exercising right. At that moment she promised something and later said she should have consulted. Ananadi witnessed how ganga and anandi as doctors are concerned about patients who are dying.

Anandi ki bachan cannot be failed. So persuasion will prevail and jagan n anandi misunderstanding goes on. It is also a triangle in a different shape.

If I help others I do not have a right to expect people to do my way.

People in this forum only highlighted that ganga should remember anandi brought mannu.

But you know fans are blind. So they think anandi is right even if she murders. So ganga has to listen what badi haveli ki beti says.

People cannot take mil sil interference and this is ex wife of current husband. OMG.
