<font face="Calibri">The King of Mathura...Raja Ugrasen was a very just king..never did anything wrong to his men. But his son,Kansa was oppose to him..very cruel..Killing the saints, making misuse of his power was just like his daily schedule..he hated lord Vishnu..just because he felt himself the only God in the world. He wanted to rule over all the three.. Devlok(the world of gods),Paataallok(the world under earth,where demons are said to be living) and prithviLok(the mother earth)..the saints n the rishimunis, who used to perform poojas, rituals and yagya..were killed badly by the demonic Kansa. So all the saints prayed lord Vishnu to help them out..Bhudevi(goddess Earth) prayed him so as to make her free from the cruel prince.</font>

<font face="Calibri">.Devki, kansa's Sister was very dear to him. He loved her more than himself. One day he felt that yes his dear is now big enough to be married so he asked his friend, King Vasudev to marry his sister. He was pleased to hear it as he was going to marry his best friend's sister. Kansa did his sister's marriage with grace. After the marriage was over n the time came to say good bye to devki Kansa himself drove the Rath(horce cart) to Vasudev's country.. Very happy for his sister he drove the cart.. On the way, Aakashvaani(voice of sky) came,"Kansa you are going to pay for your sins. Now you are going to die and not from anyone else. Only from your dearest Devki and Vasudev's 8^th son.. do u understand.Your own love will kill u. He will be the aspect of Lord Vishnu." Hearing this he burst out in anger, all his love towards Devki Vanished suddenly.. moreover he took decision to kill the cause, Devki..But her husband Vasudev pleaded not to kill her. He promised him that he will bring every child to him. Kansa prisoned the couple in Mathura itself. On the other hand he prisoned his parents, King Ugrasen and Queen Nandni in their room and crowned himself as the next king of Mathura. And ordered his men to kill Rohini, first wife of Vasudev..Rohini however managed to escape and went to Nand Rai and Yashoda, Friends of Vasudev ji and also the head of Gokul for help.</font>

Nicely depicted...though I know this story I read it because it is so rare that one is writing mythological stories in IF. I love mythologies a lot and Krishna is my second favorite God..1st is Durga maa..😳 Thanks for pm Anish. Keep writing Neha 😊
