Yeah, I said that after watching all gala performances of Prashant and others too comparing how they sang relative to the original. The votes he is bagging, and successful to avoid being in danzer zone has already proved how his voice are liked by II audience spread throughout the world. If you argue majority of the votes do not represent entire population, then you are questioning the whole judgements based on voting system that are not only in Idol selction but far beyond that. I think, I am not talking about the system here.

why? because

1. he has his original and unique voice, just like Udit jee and with a superb quality of entertaining the listener with pleasant feeling

2. he has been singing technically almost perfect in different genres without having any systematic knowledge of music and trainings that already has amazed the whole India and the world

3. he has all qualities to be an Indian Idol, not only as a very good singer but also as a role model for all the youths, as a self built personality in a poor's hut, as a struggling fighter, kind hearted, helping, brave, generous, easy going guy.

4. he has proved himself as an UNCUT DIAMOND, that is far far better than a POLISHED STEEL.

Amit is the luckiest one in top 4.

why? because

1) he got selected once being out from the leage in the wild card round

2) he made couple of blunders forgeting lyrics of the songs which sounded quite awkward but Jantha never punished him for such a miserable mistake.

3) even his performance is bad, he is garlanded with Judges' appreciation, for example, when he sang Mayeri, he basically ruined the real taste of song (you can verify hearing the original one and his record side by side) but still all four judges applauded him

4) he has made a lot of below-average performance but he has not been bashed in online forums as much as Ankita and Prashant. If my count, Ankita has 3 bad performance, Prashant has 2 bad performance, Amit has 3 bad performance and Emon has 2 bad performance. But the least criticized person is Amit.

5) he does not have any stamped allegation like other Top 4s have, Ankita is called besuri, Prashant - vote hunter, Emon - Sonu's copycat, but Amit does not have such a criticizing label.

6) Every Top 4s have their own fan, but if they are allowed to have 2nd choice, then Amit is loved by fans of Ankita, Prashant and Emon as well.

Monica. Prashant is Indian. Do you have a problem with that. Your comment of not voting prashant because he is nepali is full of racism. may be he looks like Nepali and has roots to Nepal. Thats why Nepalese people like him.
