Ranbir Kapoor and Varun Dhawan in Adi's next

Aditya Chopra is looking for two young actors to play parallel leads in his next directorial, a love triangle. It is believed that Ranbir Kapoor and Varun Dhawan are in the running to play the male leads.

Reveals a source, "Adi has been planning to direct a film since Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, but nothing worked out. He has finally locked a script which will be on the lines of Dil To Pagal Hai. In that movie, two girls fell for one guy. Here, two heroes will fall for the same girl."

Urban and very modern, the "story needs young actors", informs our source. "Adi wants two young actors to play parallel leads in the film. He is considering RK and VD for the roles because they fit the bill perfectly. As for the heroine, Adi will either sign a fresh face or another Gen-X actress."

"Ranbir has worked with YRF in Bachna Ae Haseeno and Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year. Varun has not done any film with the production house yet, but Adi finds him very promising, especially after Badlapur. The film will have a very young energy," explains our source.

The actors haven't signed on the dotted line, but if everything falls in place the film will go on floors next year.
