If you would have noticed then Randhir's character has been transforming continuously...

So if Sandhir has to patch up then Randhir has to become a feminist supporting Sanyukta's independence unlike last time in their relationship when they fought mostly due to the fact that Sanyukta was independent and Randhir wanted to make her dependent and which resulted in their break up...

So now is the phase of Randhir's transformation and if at all it is complete then we may find Sandhir together...
