I Will Borrow Sonam's Dress For Cannes - Katrina

According to Pinkvilla report, Katrina Kaif has said that if she doesn't find an appropriate dress for the Cannes Film Festival, she will borrow it from Sonam Kapoor. Katrina has also said that she feels Sonam Kapoor is a fashion icon. She has been quoted in the report as saying that whenever she meets Sonam, even if it's in a normal restaurant, she feels that the actress has dressed up for the red carpet. It seems that the two actresses indeed share a great bond.Here's taking a look at other BFFs of B-town...


We all know Bollywood actresses aren't very friendly to one another. But recently, a few actresses have gone on to break this trend and show their affection toward their contemporaries.
Sonam was her humble self and laughed as Katrina kissed her.The two divas were seen bonding throughout the L'Oreal event. They were even completing each other's sentences during the press conference.
When a journalist asked Katrina about marriage, Sonam stepped in and answered for her. Katrina also mentioned that Sonam is a fashion icon. She said, "Whenever I meet Sonam, even if it's at a normal restaurant, I feel that she has just come from an event or a red carpet. She has a great fashion sense."
Katrina also joked, "If I don't find an appropriate dress for Cannes, I'll just borrow a dress from Sonam as she will be in the next room."
It is great to see the two actresses bond. However, we are confused about their apparent over-display of affection for one another. When did Katrina and Sonam get so close? Was it because of L'Oreal or was it just an act.

Katrina Kaif is excited about making her debut appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. But she's not itching to make a trend-setting fashion statement.

Rather Katrina Kaif says she is looking forward to don something she's comfortable in.

"I don't think I'm going there to set any trend or look. I don't think that is my intention. I think my intention is to be me...That's the reason L'Oral has signed me as the ambassador -- for what I represent. I will find something that I'm comfortable in and will not get carried away to make a statement. I think one should be true to one's own self and enjoy the festival and the platform which celebrates cinema, fashion and beauty trends as well," Katrina Kaif told IANS in an interview.

The actress added that she hasn't finalized her Cannes look yet.

"I have not decided the look yet. We would be working with the team at Cannes, which consists of some amazing hair and beauty technicians. We haven't thought whether it would be Indian or western look. We haven't made any plans but we will zero in on it soon," the 31-year-old actress said.

Katrina Kaif will walk the red carpet of the 68th Cannes Film Festival in May as the face of the cosmetic brand L'Oreal.

Well, it seems Sonam is already halfway out of hers at the function 😉
