This is not me moral policing. It's just me who just wants to know the logic behind all this.
So, I admit I rarely admit the forum. And when I do - whether it's to read a fanfiction, scroll for one or just catch up with the spoilers and see if they're worth it - the amount of hate here gets to me.
Like are you f**king kidding me?
I do support people investing themselves in a show. It's your life, your hopes and dreams that go unsullied and it's your probability of success that is inversely proportional to the time you waste here hating on a fictional character in a fiction show now clearly meant for bored housewives.
A makjang ** drama with all the possible twists and turns that, I admit, very successfully make you want to pull your hair off your head.
Now here's what I don't get.
Critical analysis is appreciated - yes, it is. (Frankly, the people on IF put more thought into the show, episode and scene more than the makers ever do. So, yay us?)
But why would someone actually religiously make hate posts on a daily and hourly basis. Don't you have a life to return back to?
What do you get from hating on a character that doesn't even exist or worship/hate a person who doesn't even know or care about your existence.
No, I'm not moral policing anyone. I have no rights to do that.
But the amount of hate portrayed here is just sickening and unhealthy.
You know what? Read a book. Complete your work.
If you that much time on your hand, start working on your goals.
Dissecting every action and a word said by Divyanka as Ishita or Karan as Raman won't get you anything.
They do their job and go back to their lives.
The writers don't even care what they wrote as long as it goes along the track they set out for the show.
No one's life is perfect, so does the show have ups and down. I bet half the stuff you do on a daily basis is completely and utterly illogical to another person. But at the end of the day that's what makes you human.
Someone please enlighten me on this (why people dedicate time on a daily basis to publish and fight on 'hate' posts) and I shall be a happy person.
The title is misleading, I know. š

makjang :: a sylistic, tonal, or narrative element in dramas that chooses to play up outrageous storylines to keep viewers hooked despite how ridiculous the stories become (adultery, revenge, rape, birth secrets, fatal illnesses, and flirting with incest possibilities are some makjang favorites).
