Javed Ji's bias against Emon

I know there has been a lot of discussion on this topic. But I just have one question. Javed Ji feels Emon is taking the same harkats and sounding like Sonu. Why did it take him 8 galas to say this? He has seen Emon from the auditions to the theatre round to the piano round. But he never mentioned any Sonu resemblance and suddenly in gala 9 it struck him that he sings like Sonu. If he knew this before, why didn't he mention it in gala 1 or 2 or 3.

He commented on how Sonu had no other choice but to say Emon doesn't copy him. Why would Sonu lie for a mere 18 year old reality show contestant? If Sonu was just being sweet as Javed Ji claims, why did Javed Ji not tell Emon in that every episode that you sounded just like Sonu when he had sung a Sonu song. He waited till the next gala when Emon sang a completely different song and then said he sings like Sonu. I mean this looks like dirty politics to me. In gala 8, he praised Emon when he sang a Sonu song and in gala 9 he talks about gala 8. Why the double standards?

And while watching the promo, I heard Javed Ji say that he should have shown his versatality and chosen a dfficult song. So do all Sonu songs belong to the same genre? Has Emon sung only Sonu songs?

And he called Kal ho na ho a easy song? I think something is seriously wrong with the man. This is one of the toughest songs to sing and being the lyricist he should know this. And this song is again different from what Emon has sung before. Is this a peppy number or a romantic number or a folk song? No.

I think it is because of Javed Ji that Emon has most chances of going out this week. As there are some people who watch the show through the judges glasses and believe that whatever the judges say is always right.

Javed Ji was one of my favourite judges on Fame Gurukul. He had lost his sense of judgement earlier on, but I was pleased when he supported Deepali and singing. Seems like he's gone back to judging the way he used to in the beginning galas.

i totally agree wid each n evry wrd u say...dese r sum of the questions dat i hav asked plenty of times n i dunt think ders an answer....if emon leaves dis week....i say its 80% javed jis fault! 😡 😡 he is being unfair to him for absolutely no reason! gawwwwdd i want sonu back

Javed is never biased in Emon, instead he hates Prashant very much. His facial expression tells all about it. This Javed budha is after Ankita 😃

I dont understand you people. EMON is flawless singer...everybody knows and EVEN JA has admired that fact everytime. When you know someone is trained and flawless, you always expect versatility. JA is always expecting something different from him...something truely great. It happens , when somebody is awesome , expectations always increase.

The fault is of Udit Narayan...why did he give him Sonu's song when he knows that JA criticizes him saying he copies Sonu?(From 9th Gala at least he should have known).

Udit said the same thing as well so its not only Javed.. Alisha also brought this in one earlier gala

Basically both of them are inflating Ankita.. thats it. At this level of competition, anyone who goes out is a good singer.

I think Emon naturally sounds like Sonu.. he doesnt intentionally copy him. However that said he should develop his own style eventually. I support Emon 100% over Ankita anyday but I do think this point is right and Emon should take it positively not become offended by it.

what i assume is that the whole thing is done by sony ( as i said that in other thread). the examples are...

1. when sonu said " emon does not copy me. he sings in his own style"....instead of showing it sony saved it.

2. in the 9th gala when emon sang in a very diff way, they chose javed sab to say that, so that they can show some saved part of Sonus comment on this issue....and create another controversy. these r all preplanned.

why sony is doing this...i dont know. they definitely have some plans...or simply just gain money.

With all due respect to JA, in gala 9 performance emon did not sound like sonu. thou in a few galas before that Emon actually sounded like Sonu ("o habiba") - hence the name chota sonu - and javed ji should have brought up the point then… but it was unfair of him to bring it up this time… lets see gala 10 n comment on wether he sang like sonu or not…
But it still does not change the fact hes a gud singer n sings better than prashant n ankita n deserves to b in the top 2 with amit!!!

In singing circles, voice changing is NEVER appreciated. Thats a fact. Period.

I dont exactly know whats Emon's natural voice... is it the khanakdar voice he sang MITWA with or is it the 'Oh habiba' soft Sonu-like voice?? Unlike other singers, Emon HAS BEEN changing his voice per the song he's singing. And thats a FACT.

That said.. he does remain a awesome singer and surely deserves to be in Top 3. So Javed and Udit are not saying throw out Emon. What they are saying is that Emon must sing in his own voice. Thats a basic lesson for him and will help him in future galas as well as his singing career. I am an Emon fan and want him to listen to this advice carefully and not become offended by it immaturely.
