Hello everyone 😊

I'm not a regular viewer of the Indian soaps. But due to a surgery, I'm in for a lot of bed rests so there is plenty of free time in my hand...

My first ever indian show was IPKKND 1 ...now YHM ( a friend introduced me) . YHM has become a little disappointing over its course, this week its been good...I don't know if the good times is here to stay.

I was wondering what other good Indian soaps are there to watch. Please don't give me anything with high Intense drama such saas-bhau things...

Finding another show better then YHM right now television is not possible I think...trust me I tried looking 😳...though the show does get frustrating to handle at times the magic of the lead and flawless acting of the supporting actors isn't found in the current bunch shows ...

I myself is not a big Desi soap watcher, I'm more into English shows
Here is a list of shows that I watched previously , which you might like,

Dill Mill Gayye
Geet
Saraswatichandra

Wish you a speedy recovery!😊

Neither can any show match the par excellence performances of YHM neither the story line! I don't watch any TV show... YHM is, was and will always be my first and last love!!

Though the numbers aren't high, there are better shows than YHM on desi tv (going by what's been showed of late)
New show that is pretty good: Reporters; premise is thoda hatke types! (definitely not typical saas-bahu serial)

Off-air shows:
Left Right Left (from ~8 years ago); if you're able to find links online, I highly recommend this show!
Na bole tum na maine kuch kaha; I've only just started, but it's quite good so far! (others have recommended this to me).

Hope this helps and hope you make a speedy recovery!

I know I shouldn't be discussing other shows on this forum, but last comment on this, I promise!

Disregarding my bias for Mr. Khandelwal, I think it's a fantastic show!! 😳 I don't yet follow it as closely as YHM, but I'm getting there.
NBT is awesome!! Love Kunal Karan Kapoor (also from Left Right Left 😳)
For good measure, I'll add that I see a lot of similarities between YHM and NBT... Most important being, addressing and challenging current societal thinking.
