August 28th ARY Written Update
The episode starts with Mr. Khan stopping Kabir before he leaves for work and telling him how proud he is of him. He also tells him of his wish that Mazhar and Azaan be eaught how to handle business stuff as well, and that Kabir shouldn't have to be responsible for such a huge business by himself. Kabir says that when the time comes they will learn, but for now he is here.
When Kabir gets to work, he finds Azaan there with tickets in his hand. Kabir is shocked to learn that Azaan is not only wanting to go back to London to complete his studies, but also to settle there and not to come back to Dubai again. Just then, one of the employee comes and requests leave from work for 2 days because her daughter is expecting. Kabir says, then I want you to take leave for not 2 days but 15 days, and if you want you can even take leave for a whole month. "You are about to become a grandma, its not joke, Right Azaan?" he says all smiles. Azan nods.
Kabir continues, "And for this happiness, the whole staff will get a bonus for a whole month" Azaan is shocked. "Lets go tell the whole staff this happy news, come!" and he leaves. Azaan smiles, "What has happened to bro? Is he crazy?" Next, we see Mr. Hasan and Naila aunty come to Afreen's house, all smiles. They greet Mr. Khan who happily welcomes them. Mr. Hasan said, "its such a happy day today, we decide to come and congratulate Kabir." Naila aunty says, "we have gotta a taweez made for him, that will protect him."
Zareen aunty goes, "Well at least this way you guys came here! But you are a bit late, Kabir has just left for work." Mr. Khan says, "he had something important to do, and anyways its good in a way that you guys didn't meet him." Mr. Hasan goes, "Uh, I didn't get you" Zareen aunty goes, "actually every year Kabir forgets his birthday" Mazhar continues, "and we plan a birthday party for him" Naz ends the sentence, "he comes home from work, we all wish him, and have a party at home."
Mr. Hasan goes, "oh then its good." Mr. Khan goes, "and if you would have met him, then our plan would've backfired!" They all laugh. Afreen proposes the idea of celebrating Kabir's birthday in their house. Salman, Naz and Nadira are shocked. Zareen aunty goes, "great idea" Naz goes, "no way! What will my friends think? And they wont have fun at your house." Everyone is shocked. Naz goes, "I mean, your house is small right, so my friends will feel uncomfortable" (okay its not that small!) Her parents are angry. Naz continues, "and anyways they will have a problem in finding the address, right?" Afreen's parents just nod.
Mr. Khan goes, "Naz dear, those who want to come, will find the address, and will enjoy." He turns to Afreen. "Afreen dear, its final, the party will take place at your house." Naz, Salman, and Nadira are unhappy.
At work, Kabir is looking at model sketches for something. He praises them and tells him to add glow-in-the-dark glittery stars on the ceiling, make the walls bright with cartoons such as spiderman, superman, etc. The guy goes, "but sir this stuff is for boys" Kabir goes, "So? I am going to have a son" The guy goes, "how do you know?" Kabir says, "I just know" He thinks to himself, I know it's a boy, I listened to his heart yesterday, his heartbeats are just like mine.
Afreen is at her house eating. Her mom tells her to eat slowly. Afreen says she has a lot of work. She asks Tambreen for the guest list and says they are gonna celebrate Kabir's birthday with more glam than ever. She takes leave from her parents when her dad stops her. He asks how she is going to get everything done by herself.
"You don't worry" we hear a voice say. It's Salman. Afreen thinks to herself, what is he doing here? Salman says, "our bhabijaan celebrates Kabir bhai's bday and leaves us alone, that cant happen. Don't worry about anything. I am with bhabijaan, all preparations will be done." He smiles at Nasreen who leaves from there. Salman thinks, "for you I have come to help my enemy, and you are running away from me.. It's ok, I'll see for how long you run away from me"
Afreen is looking for a gift for Kabir. She finds a little figurine of the Taj Mahal and buys it, despite a lady's telling her that it's a sign of love, but also of separation, etc. She has someone send a bouquet to Kabir in her name. When she calls him, he tells her he is busy and didn't get the bouquet, to annoy her. He keeps on doing it until his whole office is filled with bouquets sent by Afreen. Then, when Afreen calls him he says, "I now got your beautiful flowers. Thank you very much. But tell, why sudden barsaat of flowers?" Afreen says, "just because. I just felt like it. Ok now bye and see you at home."
Kabir thinks, "you want to surprise me, and I want to surprise you. Lets see whose surprise shocks everyone." Salman calls Azaan and tells him the party is at Afreen;s house. Azaan is surprised. Salman says, "Please come quick, and Kabir bhai shouldn't know about it" Azaan goes, "arrey idiot, when I will leave office with Kabir bhai, how will I hide it from him?" Salman tells him to leave office before Kabir does. Azaan asks how they will get Kabir to Afreen's house, and Salman says he'll take care of that.
Kabir gets a call from Nasreen. "Hi dulha bhai how are you" Kabir says, "I am fine, but how did you remember me so early in the morning?" Nasreen goes, "I wasn't missing you, abbu was. He wants to meet you. While going home after work, stop by." Kabir sweetly says, "ok" and they exchange, "Allah Hafiz". Azaan comes to Kabir and tells him that he is tired and going home, and that Kabir should too. Kabir says, "you aren't going anywhere, and neither am I"
Kabir tells Azaan that he has to go to his project's construction site. Azaan tells him to go because he is tired of going there. Kabir tells him no excuses after today. Azaan tells him he loves him and they hug. Azaan tells him not to spend too much time at the site. Kabir says, "I'm not a kid, I have some work, I might be a bit late, and I have to go to Afreen's house after work" Azaan goes, "why bhaijaan" (wah kya acting hai, I cant hold a secret like this ever, way to go yaar!) "Hadi saab wants to meet me" says Kabir. Azaan says ok and then takes leave.
Kabir thinks, I wont bother you today, because you are organizing a surprise party for me. Afreen enters their room and picks up a photo of Kabir. She smiles and runs her hands over it, "Today I will once again become your bride, just for you, for your happiness." Afreen dresses up in the same dress she wore for her wedding with jewelry and everything. *While she dresses up, some meri bindiya teri nindiya song plays* *Afreen has flashbacks of their meetings*
Kabir comes in, and she shyly gets up. He stares at her, moving her hair behind her ears, telling her that seeing her dressed up like a bride, his heart is going wild. And that he wont forget this surprise of her for the rest of his life. He kisses her forehead, and then Afreen realizes she was just daydreaming.
Kabir is at the construction site, where a guy tells him to check a file. He tells him to bring the file to work the day after because its Azaan's project, so they should discuss it with him. He gets a call from someone, and moves a distance away, Kabir tells him he will see him tomorrow, and leaves. When the guy turns around, Kabir si already leaving, he screams at him to stop, but Kabir doesn't hear. Kabir is looking at pendant while driving, he speaks, "if Allah would have given me the chance, I would fly to you, but what should I do, I am relying on this machine, but I will get to you very soon."
Screen splits into two- Afreen looking in the mirror and Kabir smiling at the pendant.
