Article: Hiba and Dhruv are the new tom and Jerry of TV

In the newly launched TV show Tere Sheher Mein produced by A list producer Rajan Shahi (Director's Kut Productions), actors Hiba Nawab and Dhruv Bhandari share a mutual love-hate relationship much like the cartoon characters Tom & Jerry. They fight each other, yet won't live apart. However, now Dhruv who is known by the name, Mantu in the show, is set to change his character. With the Mathur sisters struggling to get their lives on track in Banaras, Amaya, played by Hiba finds help with Mantu's entry on the show.

"The show is at a crucial juncture where Amaya will now decide to transform herself and accept her life in Banaras. Mantu has a major role in this transformation and as the story progresses, Amaya will develop a bond of friendship with Mantu," says Hiba who was in Chandigarh on Thursday along with Dhruv, "Currently Amaya and Mantu share a Tom & Jerry relationship with each other."

Adds Dhruv, "Mantu has had a nok-jhok relationship with Amaya but he genuinely wants to help her out. The audiences will get to witness a different side of Mantu when it comes to Amaya. It is an interesting phase in the show now."
