I don't think they are getting it from Nadiad's share. They are getting it from UTV the distributor's share. Just like Shahid and VB got from distributor's profit + other rights for Haider.

If they were getting their share from Nadiad's share they still had a chance to earn money.

Like here.. Kashyap made this movie at 75 cr. (approx.) sold it to Fox Star at 95 cr. So, Kashyap has made a 20 crore's profit. Now according to agreement Ranbir would get 32 cr + 30 something percent of profit (= The money Kashyap made from Fox).

Problem here is they only paid 20 cr. to Ranbir.. yet to pay 12 cr. Profit ko toh bhul hi jao. Kashyap and friends are saying the 20 cr. profit they made from Fox is already spent on the movie cause the movie went over-budget. So, they can refuse to pay the profit share to Ranbit, but they still have to pay 12 cr. of his 32 cr. Which they aren't. And I guess, that's the reason Rishi is angry.

Anyway, IMO, Papa and Beta Kapoor should be happy with 20 cr. as BW is going to the dogs.

I have said this before, Ranbir charges way too much at more than 30 crore...Anurag was famous for being able to produce films on a small budget...I guess, he invested a lot in the sets and all the edits that the film had to go through...For now, I think Ranbir should just focus on getting people to come and watch BV...he's already loaded with all that money he got from doing ads...and maybe he can go for vacations less than 3 times this year 😆 He should remember what made him sign this film and what made him want to work with Anurag..

Money might not be the most imp thing but nobody works for free

not if the project you are working on is banking heavily on you...it's not like he's going homeless if he doesn't get paid...btw, I hope the crew got paid their salaries though...

Ranbir is a good actor and popular but that still doesn't justify him asking for 32 crores. Tell him to get off his high horse and those idiotic producers should slap themselves now for even agreeing to pay him that much.

wonder if amir already sensed all those problems n didnt believe in anurag's vision when he refused to do BV
