Kash-Krush play with fire - article

It was a close shave for Kashmera Shah and boyfriend Krushna who were saved from getting major burns on the sets of Nach Baliye 3. The couple was shooting for a promo that involved dancing around fire. Recalling the incident Kashmera says, "It was quite scary. We were busy dancing and didn't realise our costumes had caught fire until other people on the set pointed out."

Repeat mode

After her Nach shoot, Kashmera landed herself on the set of a film where she was required to do a scene around fire. "I was destined to shoot around fire the whole day! We were shooting for a film where I play a Nagin and I had to do some scenes around fire. Actually, I hurt my leg while doing it."

Krushna, who's worried for Kashmera, and wants to avoid injuries at any cost. He adds, "We are wrapping up pending film schedules. From now we want to concentrate on rehearsing for Nach and devote all our time and energy for it."

Talking about the incident he says, "I was wearing a leather pant and a satin shirt, and the inner lining of the shirt caught fire. Thankfully before it could spread around we doused the flames."

No comparisons

On constant comparisons to his uncle Govinda he says, "I think it's unfair to compare our dancing styles. He's a genius and a legend in the industry, I can't even think of comparing myself to him. I am here to have a good time and enjoy. But the biggest reason is that I get to spend lot of time with Kash."
