Hello everyone :)
It's Hinal again!

I watched the episode early this morning, and now I'm here to write a little bit about it.

Firstly, I officially ship Aliya-Ishaan, just because I realized that Malvika-Ishaan are not compatible (in my pov). I think today's episode for me was a turning point, for that fact that we got to see a hint of what had happened between Malvika and Ishaan which led to their break-up.

Secondly, I have to add this in, not only do I love Kiran and his acting, but I also love Ishaan and his demeanor. I've never watched an Indian medical drama before with a psychiatrist playing an active role in the cases. It's such a treat to actually watch some meaningful analysis on his part. Not to mention the way he handles people with ease and incredible acuity. Really in love with his character.
- not to mention his deep voice, but that's just me fan-girling 😆

Now now now... What I really really really liked was Aliya's not-taking-your-nonsense-for-no-reason behaviour with Malvika. For the first time, I felt Malvika was being unreasonable, considering it is her who is always the one who seems to keep her professional life separate from her personal life. I'm pretty happy that Aliya respectfully gave Malvika a response. I'm not blaming Malvika, but I'm still happy that Aliya didn't just take it from her.

Erm what else.
The whole Mr. X thing was eh, whatever :P
But glad that the plot didn't just revolve around that, because that would've taken away from the episode.

In short, it was a good episode.
Although the star of this week's episode had to be the 9th episode. I think they've set their standards up so high with that episode.

Really eager for next week's episodes.

And that's it for now :)
So signing off.
Do comment/share what you thought about Sunday's episode 😃

Lots of love,
Hinal 😳🤗

Hi Hinal,
Lovely analysis. Here are few points from my side too -

One thing is very clear that Malavika and Ishaan had different expectations from one another. And one of the main problem I think was that Malavika did not have much time for Ishaan and her profession came first. I am also a working independent woman, but I also understand that time for self and family is also crucial. Even few hours with my child, parents helps to cement relationship. It becomes essential to strike a balance between both especially when you are in budding relationship.

I loved yesterday's episode as it focused on behavioral disorder and liked the way they showed Ishaan trying to find a solution for this.

Yes Malavika is upset with Aliya maybe rightfully so, but the way she told off Aliya was not quite right. Also for first time she could not distinguish between professional and personal life wherein when Anisha was bought in with stab wound she told Maria that she can manage with Aliya and does not need her. I also liked the quiet distinguished manner in which Aliya gave back to Malavika in end and walked off.

Me too.. me too...Alia-Ishaan have refreshing and super fun chemistry... Malvika-Ishaan broke-up for a reason and it will remain so. Then what is the point of getting back together??

Secondly, I have to add this in, not only do I love Kiran and his acting, but I also love Ishaan and his demeanor. Same here...I looove Ishaan. A sweetheart for a male lead...bring it on. No angst, no anger, no pushing and pulling; you can only take one of them at a time.

Now now now... What I really really really liked was Aliya's not-taking-your-nonsense-for-no-reason behaviour with Malvika. Yes. That is what made Malvika real to me..,

Erm what else.
The whole Mr. X thing was eh, whatever :P

I just don't like film and product promotions... urrgggh... I just skipped the scenes..

In short, it was a good episode.

Thanks for the replies :)
It's always nice to read what others are thinking, because not everyone agrees on the same point.

But anyway, I totally agree with you. It seems as if both had completely different priorities when they were in a relationship. To start a relationship, you need love/attraction/feelings. But to maintain it, you need much more.
And I think for that reason, you need to find the person that is capable of providing that in a relationship which you both want/need.
So in this case, it has to be Ishaan-Aliya (or in other words, shouldn't be Ishaan-Malvika at least)

Agree...the whole Mr. X Thing was meh.. 😛
n needless to say epi 9 was the BEST!!
like u said it raised the bar to another level all together! ! Kudos to cvs n d cast for that!!
for me this epi was significant in personal matters rather than professional n was indeed the turning point for me
till now I 'll be honest enough I shipped Ishaan-Malwika for their undenying chemistry in d form of flashbacks ( read kuchh khaas hai sequel) and wanted Ishaan-Aaliya to remain friends
but epi 10 changed all the dynamics
Apparently ishaan n malwika are polls apart n their expectations with each other are very different!!
Plus another thing u rightly pointed out is the fact that we saw a very different Malwika today...dropping her usual professional act and mingling it with personal life not that I completely blame her...given d fact that d msg she received wud have pissed anyone off ...I m glad that for once we saw her human side ...rather than d professional robotic one

The bolded bits were exactly my thoughts as well! I was okay with the fact that we may see Ishaan and Malvika together, but that one small tiff between them kind of gave us a sneak peak of what must have went wrong.
So definitely rooting for Ishaan-Aliya now :D

And exactly! I don't blame her for allowing her professional life to be influenced by her personal life a little. She's only human after all.

I'm loving all characters in this show. Seriously. It's been only 10 episodes, and I'm already hooked on 😳

I felt mr.X was forcefully tried to fit into the episode...it was not needed...but anyways..with mr.X or without him, the episode was superb..i loved it❤️❤️
day by day i'm falling for dr.ishaan more n more...☺️
He handles every situation soo patiently..yeah,he wanted some quality time with malvika..but she was busy with her professional life..that's sad!!
no doubt aliya-ishaan look best together, but we can also not deny that ishaan-malvika still love each other..until n unless they completely break-off...i dont want aliya to come in between them...otherwise aliya look like 'kabab mein haddi' between both of them
Not just episode 9 but i equally loved all the episodes❤️

^ That is very true! And I really feel she is not going to come between them like that though. Or from what I've felt about her character at least. I think Ishaan-Malvika will soon come to terms with the fact that they are incompatible to some extent, but those incompatibilities are probably too big to avoid/ignore, or essentially, to live with.
So Aliya will keep trying to help Ishaan-Malvika until Ishaan says, "I'm done with this".

That's what I feel.
So totally agree with you. I don't want Ishaan or Malvika to have emotional baggage which torments them later on.
Let's see what they show us I guess :D

See from day one I had felt it is between Ishaan and Aaliya because by nature they are more compatible. As a working woman I understand that if you have to work post marriage you have to be a person who should know to balance both professional and personal life. And you should also have a partner who understands you have a professional life. Basically it is give and take. Aaliya and ishaan have that understanding. In other words without communicating they can communicate. If you observe epi 8 where Malavika tries to comphrehend what Ishaan is trying to tell via phone, whereas Aaliya understands it and rushes there with the syringe. There are many such small things between them that connects them beyond professional level.
Whereas Malavika as a person is more aloof to personal relations. She doesn't express herself and like to keep an emotional distance.
I missed epi 9 and need to watch it online.
