Another heartbreaking episode.. And some more fantabulous performances.. Kids are just so adorable and talented too. It was so heart-wrenching to see the kids bidding final adieu to their mother without knowing it. Can't even the imagine the mindset of the mother who had to leave these adorable kids behind.. And the father who has to watch his beloved wife and kids going through it.. There are absolutely no words to describe the pain, the grief..

The kids showing such a brave face, I just wanted to sweep Aarav into my arms when he so cutely described how well he behaves like a 'accha baccha'. He was just damn cute. And Disha with her inherent optimism and chirpiness trying to cheer her mother, but the lone tear falling from her eyes.. Oh, God, why so much pain in this world !!

Gurdeep was excellent with her expressions, And the silent observer Ram who had to voice Anu's wish of getting promise from kids to take care of each other.. I don't know whom to feel sorry for more.. Each & everyone of them are suffering.. A cute moment when Anu refers Ram as ziddi and Disha corrects it saying he is the bestest father... Will she feel the same after tomorrow? I shudder to think of it..

Kids singing 'I love you and we are happy family', Ram and Anu unable to enjoy the moment with the heart-full of sorrow. Why the hell this wonderful family has to go through this... The kids doesn't want to leave the mother, and Anu doesn't want to let them go.. Disha sensing the dangerous current in the air, wanting to be with her mother, so natural and so painful. Ram has to resort to shouting to get the kids leave.. Poor guy..

The scene where nurse asking Doctor to try arranging money for Anu's treatment.. Ok. She did do it with good intentions, but Doctor already told Ram that there is no hope, and that's what triggered Ram to decide to grant Anu's third wish.. Now this new development of Doctor asking Mr. Kapoor for funds is going to put Ram in deeper trouble once he takes the irreversible final step. Probably it will act as a proof that Ram took that step because of financial constraints and not because Anu's condition was hopeless.

Mr. Kapoor easily agreeing to help another patient (Anu), but not even willing to listen to his own daughter.. Yes, he is good at heart, but the goodness is shadowed by his anger & ego.. Though he may say it is not anger, but pain, I don't agree with that line of thought. If it is only pain, he would have atleast listened when Sooraj tried to reason out.. M & M duo (Manika & Manav) doesn't have any goodness, they are fed up of Mr. Kapoor wasting the money on charity.

Some more beautiful, but painful moments. Ram making Anu wear his mother's bangles. Btw, Ram looked very good in that scene, I think he lost some weight after the start of the show, he looks thinner now compared to the first episode.

Anu wants her father, poor Ram, this guy just can't say 'no' to his wife, and that too when it is her last moments.. He had to invent some ideas to get his clueless FIL to talk to his wife. Ram pretends to be villager whose wife benefited from Mr. Kapoor's charity trust and requests Mr, Kapoor to bless his wife considering her as his daughter.. The flinch on Anu's face when Ram said it and then again when Mr. Kapoor called her as Beti and said 'I am like your father', just so realistic and painful. Hats off to the makers for showing such intricate emotions..

After the call, Anu wants the life support system to be switched off (in my limited knowledge, it doesn't look like Anu is connected to the life support system, it merely looked like oxygen mask. But I am willing to overlook this point as the makers are doing a damn good job everywhere). Ram is still not ready, he borrows some more time by making her wear mangalsutr, bindi and Sindhoor. Anu's FB of remembering she wearing all these when she was hale & healthy was very apt there. Ram now produces the nail polish and claims he practiced to apply perfectly this time as she always complained that he doesn't do properly. A beautiful moment (the very last :( )between the couple where Ram with so much of concentration applies the nail polish.

The acting is so perfect, emotions realistic and the feeling just so natural.. A 10/10 episode..

Precap : Ram switching off the life support... I don't think either Anu or Ram had thought it through.. There are legal complications here.. As a patient, Anu has a right to reject treatment and she can demand the life support to be removed. But she should have expressed her decision to the doctor, now how will Ram prove that it is not his decision but he was only carrying out Anu's wishes. What proof he has? In India, the law on passive euthanasia (since there is no external means used to end the life, it is not active euthanasia) is not very clear cut. If it is the patient's wish, there are no issues, otherwise there are issues involved.. Ram is going to be in deep trouble, not just emotionally, but legally too..

So true, Geetha. Beautiful performances. Very good choice of the kids. Doesn't surprise me. The actress playing the daughter, Disha was one of the 2 leads of a hit Zee TV show. Of course, they made her look older there. The thought of leaving one's children, never to return is painful.

Ram has the multitude task of not only freeing his wife from the pain against his own wish of doing whatever he can to save her till the very end, but also explaining to the children how they will never see their mom again. It was not right that they did not at least confide in the daughter. I think that in her place, I would have expected to be told and would be very angry when I find out that something of such huge magnitude was hidden from me.

It was so cute when Aarav repeats a line about the burnt roti and tells his sister that she forgot to say that line. You feel so sorry for the children, especially when they have no idea what is about to happen...though Disha senses that something is terribly wrong.

Disha is going to be mad and she is justified because she has been kept in the dark. Especially if the life support is switched off.

I just hope that Ram's daughter trusts him enough to realise that it was a last resort to let her mom go and her dad wouldn't have done this if her mom did not want this. But sometimes, when you leave things till the end or put off things off, it becomes too late to make amends. In Disha's shoes, I would be so confused and angry.

You're right. This act of asking for financial help from Mr Kapoor by the doctor may work against Ram. Especially since Mr Kapoor will also associate Ram coming to his house with this, that Ram wanted money for treatment and without it, he let Anu go. Wish Anu had at least told the nurse that this was her wish...why neither Ram nor Anu are thinking of the repercussions of this one act done without telling anyone else?

Mr Kapoor is going to transfer his guilt of not helping his daughter or meeting her towards Ram. Ram will become the scapegoat of Mr Kapoor's guilt.

Making Anu wear the kangans, applying nail polish and sindoor for her...very poignant. Especially when they show the flashback of Anu wearing the mangal sutra and sindoor during happier times.

It was a wonderful touch to show Ram fulfil this wish of Anu to communicate with her father...at least she got to hear some kind and touching words from her father, even though they were not directly meant for her. Mr Walia to Mr Kapoor to Mr Ahuja, Ram ends up fulfilling wife's wishes! It must have been fun shooting for the nail polish scene!

I agree, top notch acting by the actors.

Anu should have expressed her wish to die to the doctor. Otherwise there is no proof that Ram is only fulfilling Anu's wish. Not only is he going to be emotionally haunted for what he had to do, but the legal repercussions might be very serious. Would the doctor stand up for Ram, I wonder. My feeling is that Ram might not be in trouble with the law, but they might show him falling in the eyes of his children, or at least his daughter. Wonder if Anu writes a diary like Priya of BALH...maybe she would have written this desire in that diary and this might exonerate Ram in the future. Okay, am thinking ahead...not sure what the cvs are planning!

Yes, it was an fantastic episode all the way.. Ram will be in legal troubles, but I think he will get away enventually.. I am more worried about the kids reactions to Ram pulling the plug off thier mother. Either they will despise him for this act & choose to stay with the granddad or the FIL will gain custody on the grounds that Ram is not a fit enough father.. There is a separtion coming up,.

Absolutely! Unfortunately I watched the episode late today due to some major schoolwork but this episode definitely brought tears to my eyes.

Beyond perfect acting by everybody.

The Mr. Kapoor scene on the phone with Anu somehow really touched my heart. In the shoes of Anu, my god, impossible to imagine how she must be feeling.

The last scene with Ram, nail polish, bangles, sindhoor, bindi, all that trapped me in this whole world of tears. Brilliant!

The precap literally broke my heart into a million pieces. So difficult to watch. I had to clutch on to my couch for support when Ram turned the life support thing off. Goddamn that scene affected me big time.

Overall, a fantastic episode. I think in my opinion it's the best by far. Got me speechless for about 2 hours straight.

Sanjana, I can't say whether it was the best so-far, I liked many epaiodes before too.. But it was certainly one of the best.. What moves me about the show is not just the acting, but the brilliant screen play... Hats off to the makers...
