Boxoffice prediction for Akshay Kumar's Gabbar is Back

The next big release is Akshay Kumar's Gabbar is back. distributed by viacom.
Last collaboration between Akki and Bhansali Prod was a big hit Rowdy rathore...akshay's biggest in fact. Was distributed by UTV. The goodwill of Rowdyrathore will certainly help this one a bit but long-term collections should depend on the content.


In past two polls, the forum members have been wrong so far.
DBB collections prediction was wrong. It's a flop with less than 30 cr lifetime.
Ek Paheli Leela is wrong too because nobody voted for 20-30 crs slot😆 (at the time of writing) which actually seems to be the range for the final collections as per the trends...

To make it easy, i have made the range 20 cr for each options rather than 10 crs

I have voted for 81-100cr option
I personally believe it would be between 90-100cr

81-100.

Few things to consider:

- It has an A-Lister in Akshay.
- The songs has done its bit and generated quite a lot of hype.
- Trailer has been well liked by its audience.
- Single screens will a success story because a) Its targets them b) They haven't had a film like this for a while.

The only downside would be IPL. But it has all the factors in place to do well.

with competition from piku phir se and kklh in 2nd week and multiplexes will prefer avengers 2 which will have its 2nd week on may 1st and ipl aswell

1.5 mill views on Kundi Kharkao song. Means there are still a good number of audiences who like this kind of movies. May be this one is going to be the Lingam Returns of 2015.
