OVERACTING by Hiba Nawab aka Amaya Mathur?

Okay i recently started watching this show..its a nice concept and i saw Hiba aka Amu in Stupid Ishq first and thought as a newcomer she is fine!!

In TSM she is good but she hams and overacts too much..esp with all the fidgeting and nose sikurna expression😆 i know Amaya is a bubbly dramatic character but she needs 2 tone down a bit dont you think,.makes it hard for us to watch episodes. The two other sisters are fine and subtle and Amaya is also adorable and pretty but i really hope the actress tones down on her acting a bit.

Otherwise good show..love the whole cast😊

I think I am the only one who thinks Hiba is doing a good job as Amaya😆.

I like the actress but can't seem to relate to the character, maybe because I feel that it's unfair that Amaya is the lead, would have preferred Sneha as the lead.

I love the show, all 4 Mathur ladies are doing a fab job, a special mention for Gautami and Anjum (Rachita)👏

No i know what ur saying,,i think she is attractive as a lead and she is doing a good job but she overacts and hams a lot..and tries 2 ape Kareena's Geet thats bleaking annoying..but ya i guess thy wanted youth appeal and therefor wants 2 project Amaya as the lead but m happy Gautamis character is given importance and yes actress playing Rachita is extremely natural..i like her😊

Agree...ATM, both the character and its portrayal are beyond my digestion...everything about Amaya is OTT...wondering why the CV"s have not realized yet...

Amaya's acting needs to be tone down. Rest of the ladies, I mean the Mathurs n Chaubey's are good. Waiting to c the episode today.

i think amaya is potrayed now as childish and annoying. so we are thinking like she is over reacting. even i feel that at timebut i think after she gets the reality check we ll get to know whether she needs to improve in her acting or she was potraying like that earlier

I don't have a prob with Hiba but Amaya sure gets on my nerves, she needs to grow up ASAP

Yes! I can't connect with Hiba as an actress, she is so bad and yes she was actually decent in Crazy Stupid Ishq but other than that she overacts her expressions are over the top. The other two are so natural very subtle and not OTT. Her character is terrible but her acting isn't any better, if this is how her character is supposed to be then she's doing an awful job. No offence but I agree about the nose part, it's irritating.
