About Niel's character change confusion

Niel's reaction does not make sense.He was reason for Anuraj (one of the main reasons) and now he is saying his mother's sorrow affected him ..so why did he help them.He would still be a hero in Devyani's eyes even if he did not do that.Niel's reaction does not make sense.
Personally I think Neil's reaction has something else behind it .I am a Niel fan so I may be biased. But frankly what he said and the history of his does not make sense.

Agree with you. Neil's character has been spoiled by CVs. By just seeing his mother crying one day, he became the enemy of shastri sisters???? The shastri sisters- whom he helped and supported so much in the past??? It is totally indigestible for me. I haven't understood yet. But what can we do? It's all upto the CVs...

Hi i m new to this forum, what i can make out from this storyline is that the cvs didnot have a formadable storyline, so they showed neils character wid grey shade n not marrying dev, so that they can bring in kajal on whom minty has faith.
Kajal will break mintys trust n then minty will realise anu's worth,
Otherwise hw will they make minty realise of anu's goodness, because dev is a positive character.

the thing is they can turn it around.if you remember karishma's father had said that he will strike again when every thing is Okay in their life.Niel had gone to chandigarh and after that every thing changed.In the party before he went to Chandigarh he was indifferent to her but did not hate her and i could understand his reason to be indifferent as it hurts to one-sidedly love anyone.If we assume that niel is good then he may be acting to hide something .I really hope so.

In that case neil should have married karishma, why kajal?

I think Kajal is in cahoots with karishma and her father. Karishma can never get married to any of brothers because of what she did to rajat.Even Minty may not agree to this wedding.
Please understand that all my theories are with the assumption that Neil is good.
If so two possibilities that I can think of.
1) Kajal is Karishma...but this requires a elaborate back story for why she has Kajals face.Real Kajal is kidnapped by them.
2) Kajal is in their team.

The reason why I have his theory is because Nidev is my favourite couple.

Personally from my POV he was spoiled and is immature like Devyani.As far as him being fickle.He was not fickle regarding his love for devyani.She rejected him many times and after that once in front of his friends she, without any intimation to him told them that she was his girlfriend(.i was as confused as niel.) and he rebuffed her.
What I want to say in short is in case of devyani he did not show any fickleness.
