Daya as khushi's mummy

Khushi hasn't been with Gada family for more than (may be less than) 24 hrs. and daya is already calling herself baby's mother and calling jetha as her papa. Without thinking that they have to find baby's parents first, verbally they have become her parents in just few hours. There is a contradiction too. On one hand jetha is calling daya sentimental about khushi but on other hand he has no objection, when daya calls him khushi's papa. In each scene whenever daya referred jetha as papa to khushi, I thought he'll be stressed or surprised but on the contrary he looks happy. Being referred as uncle, aunty, bhaiyya, didi is general but not mummy-papa.This clearly mean that both daya and jetha want to keep the baby.

it was clear from jetha's surprised and sad expression in society meeting when bhide said meeting is called to take firm decision for khushi. If he does not agree for something he gives expression for disagreement and keeps saying in heart to heart about it which he did not to this time.
Agree with you, even I was expecting that he will be surprised or will be reluctant to be called as dad of an unknown child so soon. It obviously takes time.

Ofcourse..Jetha is very happy with this decision...though they are not shown discussing this but it is very clear from jetha's expression that it is a mutual decision...When bapu ji said that baby will stay here Jetha was happy...he didnt stand with other men to discuss about police station issue but went to his home with daya n khushi...this shows that he also wants khushi.

Jetha's heart says that khushi should stay with them but his mind tells him that they should search for khushi's biological parents and hand her over to them.That's why he agreed to report about her to the police station.But when champak decided to keep khushi,he became helpless (as always) and mentally accepted the fact that khushi will always stay with them.THat's why he liked being called khushi's papa.

One thing I don't understand is jab miya biwi raazi hain toh kaaji ko itna problem kyun ho raha hai?I mean the other society members!This has become a personal issue of the gada family.And if everyone in the gada family wants to keep khushi then why are the gents objecting to it?What's the need to have a meeting on khushi ka kya kiya jaye jab already faisla ho gaya hai ki khushi is going to stay with the gadas?And if they think that it's their duty to find her parents then why didn't they report about her to the police?They could have done it without gadas permission too.Meetings rakh ke kya faida jab end mein wohi hoga jo gada parivar chahega?

I guess they should start talking about adopting khushi rather than talking about khushi ka kya kiya jaye.
