September 7th Update (Engagement Day)

Kaveri comes rushing home and tells everyone the good news ''Agarwal
has decided to pay up! and install new mills, which means Pratiks
won!!!''. Iravati and Babuji are like wayhayyy ..our sons won.
Babuji asks Kaveri when hes coming back home. Kaveri
says ''oh..tomorrow, he wants to wait till Agarwal brings the
paperwork in the morning so its all final''. Babuji and Iravati
become alittle sad again because Pratik has to spend the night
there. But Babuji is happy that his son has won the battle of truth.

Prem comes into the room where the rest of the family are. He says
that he has an annoucement to make, he says he cant make the
engagement today as he has to fly to america. He explains that his
business is in trouble and theres a dispute and its gone to court.
Iravati asks him to go after the engagment but he says its urgent
and he could lose his business. Durga just listens (durga knows
everything btw). Babuji tells Prem that he cant lose that much and
he must go. Rimjhim comes into the room (after being threatened by
malini) and says ''no, the engagement has to happen today''. Rimjhim
just looks to the ground sadly. Everyone just looks at her. Yashoda
comes along and asks her ''Rimjhim what are you saying'', Rimjhim
remains quiet. Babuji tries to tell Rimjhim that its urgent for Prem
to go. Rimjhim says that she and the family have faced many taunts
due to this whole remarriage issue and so it shouldnt be delayed.
Rakesh tries to convince Rimjhim that Prem could lose alot of money
in America. Prem tells Rimjhim that he could lose Crores. Iravati
tells Rimjhim that she has no right to trouble Prem and that her
what she does with her life is only upto this family! (Yashoda and
Prem dont know what Rimjhims upto). Rimjhim sadly (reluctantly)
insists on getting the engagement done today. Malini comes along to
rub it in and says ''Rimjhims right, we shouldnt delay, after all
Rimjhims been depressed for so long, its time we did the right thing
quickly''. Avinash is quite agitated by whats going on.

Yashoda and Prem meet Rimjhims afterwards and ask her what all that^
was about. Yashoda cant understand whats going on. Prem asks Rimjhim
why she messed it up when the family were eating his lies. Rimjhim
tells them that shes helpless and she will have to marry Prem.
Yashoda is shocked, as is Prem. Rimjhim tells Yashoda not to ask her
any questions ''meri kasam''. Rimjhim is depressed. Rimjhim tells
Prem that he can leave her once they are married.

Prem is walking out of sukh sandi sadan, outside Malini says ''Prem
D'costa''. Prem turns around and realises that she knows his real
identity. Malini goes on to say ''Manish, Prem Malhotra, how many
names do you have''. Prem says ''i have enough names to count, but
as to how many shades there are to your character...only god
knows''. Malini laughs it off. Malini says where your fake dad Peter
and your fake mother and your friend Chotu, call them all to the
engagement''. Prem says that she better remember that if he marries
Rimjhim then he will never leave Malini alone and will make it hell
for her. Malini laughs it off and says ''you threatening me?.. just
remember everything is mine!! this house too''. Prem goes off.

Kaveri feeds Pratik a glass of juice to break his fast, as he
recieves the paperwork from Agarwal. The press and everyone are
there. Pratik has won the case for the poor mill workers.

Rimjhim is standing in the prayer room, dressed up for the
engagement. Yashoda is like this is it. They walk out and Avinash is
standing there. Avinash and Rimjhim give each other sad looks and
leave it at that.

Pratik and Kaveri arrive at sukh sandi sadan. They get out the car n
hug and declare their love and moral support of each other. Kaveri
decides its hightime she left politics and spent more time with
Pratik.

The whole family are at home all suited/dressed up for the
engagement, all the guests and relatives are there, as well as Prems
fake parents. Everyone is chatting and getting friendly and Prems
family are being introduced to Anurag. Rimjhim comes into the main
room and everyones attention goes there, Babuji comes and he and
Rimjhim give each other sad glares. Pratik and Kaveri arrive and
Babuji goes over to hug Pratik and congradulate him on his success,
Babuji tells him the truth always wins''. Malini comes and
says ''hurry up lets get it done before the auspicious time runs
out''.

Everyone sits down for da engagement. Rimjhim is given the
engagement ring. She is about to put it on. Yashoda looks upset.
Pratik looks upset and alittle anxious. Rakesh and Kaveri are pumped
up with excitement. Avinash is lingering looking depressed. Babuji's
upset looking. Iravati's smiling. Pratik looks more queezy. Malini
and Durga smile at each other. As Rimjhims hand reaches to put the
ring on Prems finger, Pratik faints on their hands and breaks the
union before it occurs. Pratiks head is lying between Rimjhim and
Prem. Everyone gets worried and Anurag (being a doctor) says that
Pratiks fading fast!!

Pratik faints, thus breaking Rimjhim and Prems engagement before it
starts. Pratik is rushed off to hospital. Everyone is in the
hospital as Pratik is being taken into the ICU (intensive care
unit). Everyones really really worried, especially Kaveri. Anurag
says that the doctors here are good so Pratik will be well taken
care of. Kaveri is going out of her mind and is bustling to get into
the ICU but Rimjhim and Yashoda hold her back. Kaveri is crying
out ''hes not awake yet..whats going on''. Rakesh tells Kaveri that
Pratik hasnt eaten for 2-3 days, so of course hes going to be weak,
dont worry! The doctors stabilize Pratik and hes on a respirator.
The male doctor goes to the family and leaves the female doctor
behind. The male doctor comes to the family and meets with Anurag
(Anurags a doctor) and they go off to fill in formal paperwork to
treat Pratik and run some tests. The male-doctor and Anurag are in
the male-doctors office discussing Pratiks condition, saying its
very serious. Kaveri overhears that the situation is serious and
shes more agitated. Meanwhile, the female-doctor treating Pratik
realises that shes losing him so she comes into the office and tells
the male-doctor that Pratiks getting worse!. The male-doctor and
Anurag run off to the ICU. The male-doctor puts an oxygen mask on
Pratik and tries to get him back in a stable condition. Outside,
everyones worrying alot. Kaveri comes back and tells them its
serious. Everyone is shocked. The doctor is bringing Pratik back
from the brink of death. Pratiks heart has stopped and the doctor
pumping his chest to get it started. Anurag is behind the doctor,
Anurag then tells the doctor that the machine is showing that
Pratiks heart is beating again. The doctor stops pumping and a nurse
brings him Pratiks test results. The doctor looks at Pratiks test
results and is shocked and then gives them to Anurag and he is
similarly shocked. The doctor goes outside and tells the family that
Pratiks stable but his test results show something else bad. The
doctor says that we must call the cops as Pratik has been poisoned!
Everyone is shocked. Kaveri is supershocked...Kaveri slowly thinks
back about Pratapji and Agarwal. She thinks about Pratap and
Agarwals false promises and remembers Agarwal suggesting that Kaveri
feed Pratik a glass of juice to break his fast. She realises that
Pratapji has arranged Pratik to be poisoned by the juice!!! She
thinks to herself ''i wont spare Pratapji!!!!''. Rimjhim sees Kaveri
looking upset and Rimjhim knows that something is up. Pratik is in
the ICU and Kaveri looks at him through the curtains and shes really
upset.

Pratapji and Agarwal are celebrating victory with the other party
members. Pratapji has just won the position of minister of
industries of the party. Pratapji tells everyone that his hard work
for the ppl has paid off. Agarwal congradulates him. Pratapji thanks
Agarwal for his help. The toast. Kaveri is coming to their little
party..shes on her way, her hair is in a mess, shes been crying,
shes furious. She comes and says Pratapji!!!! i wont spare you!!!
Pratapji turns around and acts innocoet saying whats wrong Kaveriji.
Kaveri says ''i trusted you, you betrayed me, you poisoned MY
Pratik, MY PRATIK!!!''. Pratapji says hes sorry for what happened to
Pratik and acts more innocoet. Kaveri tells him that she wont spare
him for trying to kill Pratik using juice that she herself feed
Pratik!! Pratapji acts innocoet and says ''here take this gun'' (he
gives her a gun) and says ''i dont wanna hear these insults, just go
ahead and kill me, i'd rather die then hear this''. Kaveri takes the
gun and points at him, shes looking very furious. She shoots but
Rimjhim pulls the gun away and the bullet hits the ceiling. Rimjhim
struggles with Kaveri and takes her gun and tells her that she
mustnt do this. Pratapji tells them that they are misunderstanding
him! Rimjhim takes Kaveri's gun and tells him that she has no
misunderstanding of the situation with Pratik. Rimjhim tells Kaveri
not to do anything and instead go and join Pratik in hospital.

Pratapji and Agarwal are discussing what Kaveri just did. Pratapji
says he cant believe that Kaveri would try to shoot him!. THE
MINISTER! Pratapji says he wont spare her and will bring her down
and the newspapers will read that she tried to shoot the Minister!

It's okay both updates were wonderful.
